Remarks

I had to give a exam to get admission in this university. After passing the exam, I was admitted successfully. The admission process was not so long. I showed my all required documents and they checked the documents carefully.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course to pursue the medical lab sciences program and turn scientific projects into a career. The teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable and very helpful. They take initiative and interests in their teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and has many subjects which are very important for the students. It helps the students to get placement and internship. The term exams are taken in time and not so difficult to pass the exams. But it is very conceptual.

Internships Opportunities

4

The companies give us internship opportunities with favorable stipend. Students can perform really well in the biotechnology projects. They can gain many knowledges which helps them in further studies or in their job.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. There are so many government or private companies visit the campus for placements. 80-85% students are placed in renowned companies. The companies are- Biocon, Alembic, Novo nordisk etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this course is around 1.3 lakhs which is very convenient. In the time of admission I got a scholarship on the basis of 12th standard marks record. So, some amount was laid of from the course fee.

Campus Life

4

According to me, I am very satisfied with the campus life. The annual fest called "Anandadhara" is conducted in between april and may. The tech fest also conducted which is helpful for the students. There are all required books and journals are in the library for studies. The classrooms are well organised with the benches, fans, lights and whiteboard. As well as cricket league, football league are conducted.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility is so good. The rooms are well organised with beds, chairs, study table, lights, fans and cupboards. And the wifi is available in hostel also. The security system is very fine. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner is offered in a day in hostel canteen. The quality of meal is like home made.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.
