Nice College

Overall was a good experience. Though the college was in Rohini, kept us little secluded from a normal Delhi life. But was a fun experience.

SAT 2 in the year 2012. It is out of 2400 , for 3 subjects Physics, Maths and Chemistry(800 each). Though the college only requires marks from Maths and Physics and is evaluated out of 1600. I had scored 1450 out of 1600.

I was not much into research but the the electives offered were good enough for a detailed technical knowledge or for a research program.

Yes, internships are provided in 3rd year . Lots of big MNCs and big Indian companies visit college in the starting of the curriculam year itself. The stipend usually varies from 10 K to 25 K. Its a good experience as one gets to learn a lot. Also PPO is provided if the student shows good performance.

160 out of 190 got placed this year. A lot of students opting for MBA or MTech do not sit for placements.

Engifest- Cultural fest of college Symposiums, Troika, Aurora are some of the technical fest. Also we have an annual Sports fest.

For Indian nationals , was Rs. 65000 (2012 batch), For Foreign Nationals, was $7000(2012 batch)

There sure are Scholarships for particular categories. I am not aware of any though.

As we know brain and beauty are inversely proportional. The girl:boy ratio was very poor. The no. of girls were increasing though every year.

There are only 8 boys hostel for all 4 year students and 6 Girls hostel. Mostly the hostels are alloted to outsiders. Also a lot of Delhites manage to get hostel through their Kota and some through money and source.

The college seniors we had were amazing, specially during my initial college years. Got to learn a lot from them, also a lot about college during the initial phase when it could be a little hard.

The exams were organised and had a good 3 hour timing. In 3rd and 4th year , the exams took place at 2.00 pm. So the students have half day more to study.

The faculty is mixed of good teachers and other teachers just limiting to the books.
