GGSIPU select students for the MBA programme on the basis of marks in 12th class, marks in graduation and interview. I don't know the score but somehow cleared it. I opt for it due to its recognition and kind of learning it possess.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since it's my first semester only, don't have much to say but we have operations research subject in the first semester itself which I believe is great sort of learning in the area of research application. Apart from that they also have one project for 2 years to make with extensive research under the broad guidance of a guide cum professor provided by the university.
Internships Opportunities
No internship is not provided by them. They only assist with placements sessions in the end. Even it's too early for me to comment upon it.
Placement Experience
Almost 70-80% candidates are placed every year. All the leading companies like tcs, wipro, Infosys, jll, McKinsey, Smartcube, Kpmg, ey, Flipkart, snapdeal, etc come for placements in the college campus. Average package that is being offered to the placed candidates are like 6-7 lakh per annum.
College Events
Almost all the festivals and events are celebrated in a very nice way. Sometimes they call some musicians to play, sometimes they have students doing some sports activities, sometimes they organise it with dj and Rockstars. It's very funfull and festive mood all around when something like this happen.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As compared to the value and recognition the course provides. The fees us like appropriate and a below middle class candidate can easily afford it. But yes there is some scope of reduction or subsidy as there infrastructure is not upto the mark. Toilets and water coolers are not in good shape.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is like 60% boys n 40% girls. They put a lot of emphasis on extra curricular activities like street play, sports, drama, games, societies, events, music and so on and so forth. You will there sporting activities like basketball and street.
Hostel Facilities
I don't know about hostel facility as a locality but yes mess is quite good in terms of food that is being provided is very nice. There are number of options to choose from. Every day they have something new to eat with deserts and snacks. That too at very reasonable rate.
Exam Structure
Exams, projects, assignments and ppts are quite stressful. They give so much work to do which makes your life quite difficult and troublesome. Again and again exams create a lot of stress. Moreover creating ppts for all the subjects is quite troublesome.
Admission
I procured the forms through the college website submitted it online with thumb impression. First they shortlisted the me on the basis of percentage in class 12th and marks in graduation. Then they conducted interviews to select the candidates for the course. In the interviews they ask basic questions about accountancy and financial markets.
Faculty
Faculty is very knowledgeable, supportive and accomodative. They clear every minute doubt of yours in a very precise way and very easy to reach out. They explain every topic in detail and keep students interest ahead. They do not compromise on the quality of education in any way and pleasure to see them teaching.
