Remarks

I have taken online admission, with my SRMJEE rank. I have chosen srm as it is good in computer science. There will fee a concession for a good SRMJEE rank. Admission can be online and offline. There are 3 campuses in Chennai. I have chosen the Vadapalni branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen CSE. CSE is good in SRM IST. The ratio of faculty and student is good. As far I seen qualification of faculty is better. There is a semester exam for every sem and it is the average level to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is good opportunities in our college. Dell, High Radius, General electronics are internship companies I have seen in my college. We have PPO for students from the 6th semester, we perform well in interns you get placed in those companies themselves.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. I have seen dell, high radius, general electronics companies for my placements. The percentage of students getting placed is good as many students prefer higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee is 2 lakh and there are scholarships for a student who performs well in end semester exams and there will be financial assistance for the sports quota. There are internships from the 6th semester. The hostel fee is very huge.

Campus Life

Campus life is good unless you study in the city branch as it is small in the area. There will Milan annual fest which will be great fun and a rush a tech-fest every year will be a great opportunity for students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good. Coming to food, food is average. Most of the students prefer hostel for 1st year then they move to outside hostels or rooms, there will add form for registration. I have rented a room after my 1st year.

you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
