Remarks

- Nirma University, DAIICT; Because I got into PDPU. - I didn't avail any quota. I am from the General category. - Admission criteria: JEE Score, 12th Board Score. - it was quite smooth and structured in terms of allotment of slots based on fields chosen. I was accepted through JEE mains. The admission was through either state boards or JEE mains.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was quite interested in getting myself acquainted with hardware ad software skills and education. Faculty: The student Ratio was 10:1. All the faculties were doctorate and PhD was a compulsory qualification to be eligible to become an undergraduate professor. The faculties were quite helpful, accomodating and quite up-to-date with new trends and technologies of computer science field. Internals were taken thrice in a semester, apart from one mid semester and one end semester exam.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 205000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The type of opportunities included roles like ERP consultant, JAVA developer, Junior Software Developer, Junior Machine Learning Intern, Software Developer, AWS intern, Web developer, Graphic Designer, Cyber Security Intern. Some of the companies were Evolutionary Systems Pvt Ltd, Synoptek, RapidOps, OpsHub, Imbibe, etc.

Placement Experience

-From the 7th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. - Synoptek, Imbibe, Evosys, RapidOps, TCS, Infosys, Wipro. - Average Package was around 5 lakhs per annum and the highest package was around 12 lakhs per annum. -Almost 80% of the students who showed a willingness to sit for placements, got placed. - To work as a technical consultant with an ERP company.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the undergraduate students, campus jobs wasn't an option. The fees structure per year was 2,05,000 INR. There were some reservation based scholarships and merit based scholarships based on JEE ranks and semester wise perforance. The fees at this university gets hiked by some standard amount every year.

Campus Life

Annual Cultural Fest (Flare): April. Annual Technical Fest (Tesseract): November. The availability of books and journals in the library was quite adequate. PDPU has 3 libraries in 3 different parts of the campus. Amenities in classrooms included centrally air-conditioned classes, theatre type seating arrangement, chairs, smartboard, monitor, projector, etc. The Annual Sports Event (Petrocup) is quite famous across the state. Clubs: Jharokha, Encode, Debsoc, Panache

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Availability of room facilities: study table, tube lights, fans, single bed, mattress, cupboard Meal quality was good and following a semi-vegetarian cuisine format in 4 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, hi-tea, dinner) Registration for hostel and Mess required a deposit payment during the counselling process.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

The other college that I planned on getting into was Nirma University but I couldn't meet the cutoff and hence I had to make do with PDEU. So this was actually my second option. The admission process of the university is JEE and GUJCET. So you can give either of these exams and then the counselling process is done through ACPC. Generally THE GUJCET cutoff is easier to meet. The overall admission process is pretty smooth and hassle free as you would expect from a university which charges you 2 and a half lakhs per annum...Read More

LIfe and Learning at PDEU

I was from a normal background and wanted to build my carrer in a high-fly way which can help me to explore and learn more new things and can relate to the ongoing industry leve so i chose PDEU because it offers a large campus, good placements and modern labs and faculty in learning. i faced many rejection from different colleges may be by some ranking issues or some percentage or JEE exam score. It was just competition and limited seats. Eligiblity at PDEU requires 10+2 PCM subjects and admission are based on JEE score, Gujcet score or may be on the cuttoffs that rarely vary. Admission process at our college is very simple just byb filling the form at the website/portal and pay the fee and then the process helds offline and provide you the offer letter....Read More
