Remarks
DTU is a renowned name and USME being its part made be confident about the opportunities that I could get in while being connected with the college. Moreover, I live few kilometres from the college and have always been interested from DTU being located in my vicinity. I have always heard positive about the college and it's sophisticated though small but well equipped infrastructure always excited me. And who don't want to save the time on traveling.I didn't took any education loan.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is indepth. And is really tiring. But this challenge should be a motivator. As this is just the little steps that will make you ready for what is coming in the corporate world after the course. I think we have more than adequate faculty. The subject knowledge of every teacher is amazing. We have interactive way of studying which amazes me how these 40+ old teachers keep themselves motivated to conduct all these exercises:).
Internships Opportunities
There are quite a lot of internship opportunities that are made available for the students by the placement team. Almost, all core branches internship opportunities are being delivered. We have direct opportunity share with the DSM campus so it's great.
Placement Experience
As what I have enquired from the seniors that the least salary ranged from 4.5- to 5 lac. Whereas the highest were from 10 to 14 lacs. The college got enough opportunities for the placements. Moreover the placement cell is maintaining a great network with the alumni of the campus. And things are working great and quite responsibly. Since I am a fresher, though I have seen many companies name in the placement brochure but couldn't tell much as nothing related to placements I have seen happening in my 2 months of joining. :)
College Events
There are more than 20 societies running in the campus. And it's kinda cool that the person is exposed to different initiatives and objectives. Plus could develop event management skills. We had introduction to the societies as of now. But not many have started the recruitment process all because of Corona maybe. Hail Hydra.
Campus Life
Since we are the first batch of this corona pandemic period so sadly I hadn't explored the campus and amenities much. But I have seen the classes which are all AC and have projector and whiteboard. Moreover, the Auditorium is enough to hold students, considering the total intake of college. And I have glanced on the library, it feels wow on the first overlook. About others things, I don't think that once in MBA you should worry about- like the small ground and no play area.
Admission
I have faced the PI round, it was really a simple one. It just need some introspection of one's goal, reason to be here, and expectations and how DTU could be a right place to solve my quest.
