Remarks

Near to my hometown and yes nice faculty and labs are in good condition and facilities are available for students like library and seminars are common and other extra programs are regular which may help in personality development

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is based on latest CBCS pattern and syllabus is same as followed in any ug college and relavent for University exams patterns a main subject is to be choosed and by its side we have a English paper and one elective subject as choice

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 46000 per year

Their are no such things like campus placement here in darrang college u have to opt for off campus placements

College Events

One fest happens every year and a reknown singer is invited every year apart from that every department have their own fresher's party and farewell parties apart from that every festival is celebrated separately by the departments

Central Library is big and every department have their own library and 200rs is required while applying for a card ; labs are well equipped nothing to worry and wifi is sadly not available in campus sports facilities is good have a gym as well as sports hall

Thoughts regarding my college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 5th semester.Various companies come for placement like HDFC bank and more.The package that was offered was around 2lpa in 2024.During our time placement drive was organised in 5th semester but the companies demanded immediate joining which was not possible for us to join since we were already left with one more semester to complete .

Placements are good . Around 60% students gets placed. More than 250+ companies visits. Many students are preferring DS and Non Tech roles after graduation ( for core branches ) and they are getting good opporutunities in them aswell.

A chapter of growth, my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Course curriculum is Really tough...its really hard to complete this vast syllabus in a year that is anatomy of whole body, biochemistry whole reactions and physiology whole processes that is physiological in nature.

I didn't make it there because the course I wanted to study was not there . The admission process is merit based . Improvement in Sports activities needed

I applied for EFLU (Shillong Campus), Central University of Karnataka, Tezpur University, Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University and some of their affiliated colleges like Darrang College, DHSK College and many more. I did get pass through the merit lists of Karnataka, Darrang and DHSK. I chose this college among others cause this college is in middle assam which is more safe than other parts and also have a great environment in the campus and also the college is good , and the people in it .
