Kiet - a place where u will not regret to enter after 4 years if you work hard

I am currently studying at Krishna institute of engineering and technology. in counseling of upsee, I got information technology in the first round at kiet and till the end, it remains same. my score was 304 and my rank was 8968. though I also applied for computer science engineering and information technology at the jss academy of technical education which is best known for its location (sector 62). when counseling is over, you have to visit the college for physical verification and also to check the certificates that you have uploaded in pdf form. once you reach the college you have to submit TC, character certificate, Marksheet, domicile, and caste certificate if you have opted for quota. once the verification is done, a mail will be sent to you from the HOD of applied science for confirmation and also student mail & several other credentials such as Webex,ms team, moodle, etc.

well all of us know that the I.T. industry is on the boom and the college KIET group of institution is famous for its branch information and technology . all the faculty are Ph.D. and M.tech level. the total intake is 1800 and 8:1 is student to faculty ratio. at each and every interval of time , we get notifications about various internship , internation internship as well about the hackathons organized by different colleges and companies. these notifications are sent to us by college mail id.at regular interval of time , CT and PUE are organized within the span of 6 months.

Quite decent such as Jaro education, flipkart and several companies provide intern offer. most of the companies are startup-based of sector 62. Also, the top 5 students in each branch get an oppurtunity to work in good companies as an intern like honda, the airport authority of india , bank of new york mellon . etc

From the 6th semester, students are getting eligible. many companies visit such as Capgemini, Accenture, HCL, India mart, TCS, cognizant, tech Mahindra, dudhi industry ( civil ), Hindustan Unilever, ITC, and many more. good companies such as Adobe ( 27 lakh ), Flipkart ( 26 lakh ), TCS ion ( 11 lakh ), Samsung r&d ( 15 lakh ), zs associates ( 12 lakh ), Pernod Ricard, Kronos ( 13 lakh, Deloitte's HASHEDIN ( 8 lakh) and many more. in 2020-21 out of 1400, 1165 students get placed and many have a double offer.

per year tuition fee is 136000 and for student falling under the category of annual income will not be given any relaxation. for students having less annual income around one lakh are given concession

The annual fest is called EPOQUE organized in the month of March and the tech fest is organized in December called as INNOTECH which is damn good. also, every club like e-cell, photography cell organized its annual fest. the library is decent. air-conditioned and open till 8 pm from 9 is. we have a football ground, basketball court, small OAT, badminton close court, cricket ground, equipped gym, volleyball court, lawn tennis, and free space. annual sports fest is called RANN . also NGOs like uddeshya are run by students and Creative cell by students too.

There are two boys hostel in the first year and 1 girls hostel and every year have the same pattern. room is quite good . they provide table chair , almirah and a single bed. rooms are available in 4, 3 ,2 and 1 format. also you can opt for ac rooms by giving extra charges . mess food is damn good and we have mess committee by students who decided on food for every time. also, at end of every month , there is hostel level tournament.
