College is dean university now I'm, proud to be passed out from this college.

I attended Common Entrance test - CET for admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka. I was looking for top 5 college according to priority in my list it was RVCE, PESIT, BMS, UVCE and Dayananda sagar college. My ranking was 1555.. so i opted for PESIT.

My stream was mechanical engineering it was theoretical study not much practicals in first 2 years you will learn only the basics of mechanical in all the subjects. Then there will electives from 3rd year onwards you can choose the automotive, composite, fluid mechanics etc will be studied in depth i would say it doesn't matter what u study in college, it will give only basics and on the job will be more practical and different.

We have option to do project in any companies outside, there was no company came for internship during my study days.

Its big no on saftware company during 2005 almost 75% of students got placed. there was all the company visited to our campus i got too placed in 2 companies, 1 - mech autoliv IFB and 2 - Wipro in my steam. caterpillar, titan, wipro fluid, tvs, l&t, pepsico, sandvik, volvo etc.

College sports will be held annually hosting the internal competition and also with college participation, annual day event is called athma thrisha it had all the programs from fashion, food and music it used to be held in between semester exams management was participating in dance events.

It was fixed from government i paid 18,000 INR / year each year from 2001 to 2005, there was some college administration fees like 3000 INR/ year it was not expensive if u get free seat otherwise the fees will be very high as 5 lakh/year for management seat.

No scholarship from college i got scholarship from bank due to my mom was working in bank, but from college it's no.

Mech stream only 5 girls off 50 students there was group from north side and south first bench and last bench campus had only 1 library, 1 internal auditorium (very good) and 1 open inside auditorium basket ball court except swimming all the sports equipment was available in campus.

Yes its useful, i get every year invite for alumni infact some culture events organised overseas like AKKA in USA will also host alumni for our college it feels good to meet old friends outside India.

After CET exam, ranking will be given to each candidate whoever appread for the exam. According to the rank the counselling will be held to choose the college. If u have 1 st rank then u are eligible to choose any college any domain as the rank is higher u will be limited with colleges and domain. As my rank was 1555 i went for counselling and i paid the admission fee allotted from government later came to college with receipt and finished administration work.

Well experienced faculty in each subject with Phd holders HOD during my semester was V.Krisha he showed me good interests on my career development during project phase FEM lecturer was very old and had huge industry experience on aerocraft design.
