Remarks

The admission process was very easy as soon as I got a seat in college it was easy to locate the college and the staff helped a lot during confirming the admission. I didn't apply for any quota as I m an open category student. The admission criteria for RGIT vary depending upon the percentile in MHT CET and the stream you are gonna choose. The highest merit list in RGIT is for CS branch seats as CS and IT streams are very popular among current the generation. I applied for many colleges throughout the state but was allocated an RGIT cs seat. The counseling session was good. Accurate guidance was given by the staff

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose the CS branch as it is an industry that has a bright future. The faculty at RGIT is very helpful. Every teacher is having some degree and deep knowledge of their subjects. The term exams are taken after every 2 months and they are quite easy to pass if one has studies daily

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I have heard our college provides good internship opportunities and helps students to find their dream jobs and get experience to prepare them for the life after actual placements from college. I personally haven't been to that stage of getting an internship but whatever I have heard from my seniors is that there are many internship opportunities

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are very good in cs and it branches as compared to some other colleges. Students after 3 yrs become eligible for campus placements . Every year cs or it branch students get higher packages .Companies such as jp morgan, Accenture, tata, etc companies come for placements . 80-90% CS IT students get placed every year .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple and cheap as compared to other colleges. Their various scholarships are given in the college, as well as internship assitance is given to earn our own money. There is a committee in the college which helps students who are financially poor

Campus Life

There is various fest organized in the college by various branch committes . The most famous tech fest is codecell which is organized by the the cs commitee of the college during the summer . It provides various prizes for everyone who participates . The library is well organized with availability of many books to keep to engaged during free hours . Sports are given special attention in the college students are encouraged to take part in sports to keep them healthy

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

My Awesome experience in RGIT

1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. As a result I took admission here according to merit list. 2) I didn't get rejected from other colleges, I choose to withdraw the admission as I wasn't getting course that I wanted. 3) Students can take admission in Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Andheri by many different ways like merit cut-off of MHT-CET, JEE, Through Management, etc. and the process is very simple, As students have to submit their documents like 10th-12th marks sheet, adhar card, ration card, bank passbook, Merit Documents, and others depending upon the caste and situations....Read More
