Likes

Campus is very chill and very good infastructure. Almost everything is available inside it.
Placement opportunity is avilable here.If you work hard you can grab it either online or offline.
There are many clubs and extra curricular activities to make your mind calm .

Dislikes

Hectic schedule and you feel nostalgic here if you are newbie
Very rude Strict professor .You have to find some more time for your own work.
Most important is the peer group , if you are alone here then you cannot survive in this environment

Placement Experience:

Look there are very large audience in this campus. For this specialization thereare many competitors - B.tech , integrated m.tech and even m.tech. So on campus placements are big issue here, many seniors applied for off campus , some left and join NTPC .

I applied in some other colleges and such (most of them low-level),some through the WBJEE allotment, and others through word of mouth.I stuck with this college because it felt "right" in every way.The admission process was simple,I went into the college, filled in some documents, and got admitted. From what I gathered, the admission criteria is that you pass physics and mathematics, and have an aggregrate 45% in physics, mathematics and (chemistry/computer science/biology) combined.I did not have much of counselling day, aside from a physical reporting to the admission cell....Read More

To get admission in SurTech (yes it is what now we call in short ) all you need is your diploma markshit. Though they ask you for Jelet you can also get admission through the management quota. But for an easy transition, I recommend you to just have your 10th/Diploma/Jelet certification with you. Oh don't forget to keep a Government-issued identity card with you, Adhar Card is highly recommended....Read More
