Remarks

I didn't apply to any college except the Gulzar group of institutes. I came through rosemine educational trust and foundation. There are no certain criteria of minimum marks and age. The admission process is going all through rosemime trust. It takes the original certificate of class 10th,12 mark sheet, and migration certificate if you moved CBSE to another board for verification and security purposes. And after completion of the admission process, all the documents will give it to you.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of more demands in the future as we know that electrical and electronics are burning desire of our country for developments. The faculty-student ratio is near about 1:30 which is good, not bad. All teachers are qualified and the method of teaching is average not like IITian NITian college as you know how private colleges are. You have to do some extra efforts from yourself to be placed in good companies or taking knowledgeable contents regarding this branch. For B.TECH there is a total of 4 years of courses in which 8 semesters are taken. In internal exams, you have to go with your teacher's lecture but if you want to do a good performance in external then you have to do some extra efforts otherwise you may fail in those subjects.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a good number of internship opportunities available in the college. You have to work hard in internships for well performance and side by side you have to hard work for semesters and mid-semester examinations.

Placement Experience

After the 6th semester, you are eligible for campus placements. There are a number of companies visited but you have to remember you should do extra hard work for campus placement. Last year's Highest package is around 12 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee structure of B.TECH is near about 120000 and you also are eligible for scholarships like e-Kalyan, NSP, etc. Overall I want to say that if you want to invest money in the education field then it is a good college as we know how private colleges are taken extra fees.

Campus Life

An annual fest like ROBOMANIA, cultural fest, sports fest, etc is good. The availability of books in the college library is not so good you can say average. Classrooms are good that is available good benches and ac also. Extracurricular activites in sports are Cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good in condition. For every student one chair, one study table, and one bed are also provided. The menu is good but meal quality is average we are not satisfied with this quality. But you have the option to avail of PG or rented room nearby but not for rose mine trusts students.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
