Remarks

The admission process was on the basis of my 12th percentage and for others who don't have a good percentage to gain a scholarship they applied for admission through CUCET. We had an online orientation session since it was COVID time the orientation was done online for the freshers. One should have good marks in 10th and 12th if they want a scholarship otherwise no scholarship for the course is given.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have 2 mid semesters which are held in our 6month semester and then we have our finals at the end. Usually, colleges have one mid sem but CU takes 2 that's what is the good thing since students learn more if they give more exams and even knowledge is tested. To pass the exam it wasn't so difficult because we had online classes throughout the exam was just MCQ-based.

Internships Opportunities

The internships at CU are given at the time of our 6th SEM before we complete graduation. Various companies visit and choose students for internships for 6months basically. And at the time of our summer term of 2nd-year students are given classes on campus those who want to join internships and jobs after graduation and then practically they study and learn things.

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for placement after completing their 3year of graduation. Highest package after graduation goes up to 39Lakh approx. Maximum no of students tend to get the placement at CU. Since the university is NAAC grade A+ the placement provided are quite good. After the degree of graduation I'll go for job experience and after a year or two I'll go on for my master's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship I got from Cu was 50% on my BBA course since my class 12th percentage was above 90% and right now I'm in the second year so job and stipend is what I look forward for after 1 More year. Overall not only on basis of 10tg and 12th percentage CU also give good scholarship if someone does well in CUCET exam.

Campus Life

Again because of covid time we had online classes throughout we couldn't explore ourselves that much on social grounds. But then too CU conducts various quizzes and competitions online so that students can participate and interact socially. There are clubs like anchoring, debate societies, and these events are held oftenly online.

So each and every student get placement according to their skill and knowledge. Some students get foreign placement like in USA with 50 lpa or 70 LPA Some people who don't want to go foreign they receives the package of 8 lpa in India As a tourism student are girls in boys can become air hostess flight attendant cabin crew ground staff etc with 8 to 10 LPA package Some students get the normal job of 30 to 35000 as a fresher Some students get 15 to 20000 if they don't have skills this point based on individual people The college guarantee for placement but does not guarantee will stay there if you perform well you will stay there

Its is good college in terms of money and their atmosphere

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Great College

Remarks:

The accounts office has only two windows and the college has numerous students. Paying fee or fine becomes a lengthy process because of the long lines. There is mismanagement in that case. And student exchange program is also absent. No internships also is a drawback.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document.
