Remarks

I have applied to 5 colleges but I admitted to Katwa College because it is a stone throw distance from my house. I have got 68% marks in Higher Secondary, and I have admitted to the college with B.Sc in Physiology Hons. College authority verified my HS marks and selected me.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose physiology because I love to read Biology the most. In our college there are just 20 students who were admitted in physiology department and there were 5 professors in our department. So, student: teacher ratio is 4:1. All the teachers were highly qualified and there was one written exam and one practical exam every year. The course was for 3 years.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were 1000 rs per year for admission and exam fees. There was no scholarship program for general caste students like me. And also there was no campus facility in our college. But for the economically weaker students, there were some discounts in the fees structure.

Campus Life

There was a reunion program every year with many ex and present students. And the availability of books in our library was good, and it helps us a lot. Many economically weaker students got help with books through that library. Many sports and extracurricular activities were done by our college authority. Annual sports also happened every year and the winners were congratulated and honoured by the various prizes. Our college has only one website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I have a great interest in human physiology so I chose this course, as I can't qualify entrance test for mbbs NEET. Faculty: student is 1:15. All the faculty are not the same but well qualified and experienced. Term exams are always taken in time. To pass these exams is not a big deal but it will help to obtain a good score in final university exams.

A humble request to college

Placement Experience:

Overall I am very happy with my experience at RHS. If you are a parent or a future student, I would highly recommend that you participate in after school sports. Sports like cross country, swimming, and track do not require tryouts and anyone can join. I have many fond memories from those sports and I built many great friendships. I would also encourage students to take some advanced math or AP courses. There is a wide range of students at RHS and I think your classroom experience will be better if the majority of students in your class are engaged learners.

Besides Katwa College I have also applied for Kandi Raj College. I got confirmed by the college but there was a small issue with the distance and transport If I got admitted to Kandi Raj College so I would have to take buses or Rickshaws and for my current college I just take train. Our awesome college

There are both positive and negative remarks about our college. The teachers are very helpful. The infrastructure is quite not bad. The communication and transport is also good.
