Entrance Preview

I had taken the EAMCET examination of JNTUH and secured good rank in the Eamcet and got this college. Why I had joined this college it has vast experience of faculty and oldest college with great atmosphere around the college. And most important is that it is very near to city which will not take much time to reach the college and to our home.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was pretty good as the JNTUH will deciding the subjects so there is no issue with subjects and coming electives it is our own choice which ever the subject we choose. The best part of JNTU is that the curriculum which they made very simpler and easy to understand and even the modern technologies they had touched in the syllabus is great.

Internships Opportunities

No, I never find any internship in my college. They never allow us to go for the industrial tours also. In the college we use to be there and we are not allowed to go outside of the college too. So, there is no chance of any internship in the college.

Placement Experience

2

In the college we don't have any placement cell till 2013 after 2013 we don't know there is placements. As we aware of the college they won't even provided us the placements in the college. They use to send the students to other colleges for Off-campus drives and students used to selected over there.

College Events

2.5

In our college we used to have 5 days fest as annual day celebration and even our college used to celebrate the Republic day and Independence day in grand scale. There will be having cultural events and sports meet in the college. The fest we used to have every year one day was particularly dedicated to one branch and they will be huge celebrations for the fest in every department.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, in our college they won't provide any loans or scholarship to the students for there merit. The students used to get the loans from out side for their studies and scholarship by the governments.

Admission

I had opt this college in engineering counsel through convener quota. Before day we had decided to take part in the counselling and found I had got searched all the colleges in those list i found this college is good. On the day on counselling we entered the counselling and got verified all my certificates after that I had called for the option exercise and I had given in three departments in the same college.

Faculty

4

A part from all the colleges I can seriously say that faculty in the college was good as per the AICTE rules the college is maintaining the staff. The professors in the college are very experienced people, the way they use to taught us was simple and easy which a student can understand and he can execute in practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
