The admission process was very smooth. Admission to this college is on the basis of both JEE and OJEE marks but preference is given to the JEE score. The application form is available on the official website of OJEE. U will be allocated to different prestigious colleges of odisha on the basis of ur rank and the order of colleges u set . After selection they will call u for reporting at the college for document verification.

I had a keen interest in gadgets so I choose the Electronics and Telecommunications course. The teacher to student ratio is 1:60. The teachers are very friendly and supportive. Semester exam level depends on your preparation level. If u have studied well then u will surely get flying marks.

Actually I am currently in the first year so I don't have much idea about this .But college provide us with a few internships like Cisco and free courses from coursera .But I will surely collect more information and update it as soon as possible ????

From 6 th and 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit the college during placement and there is mass hiring. The average package offered is around 8-10LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

This college is very affordable as it is a government college. It offers various scholarships to SC/ST and other backward students .As I belong to general category so I haven't received any scholarship till yet. This college also provides a cash award of Rs50000 to the topper of every batch.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Buckle up Journey in Vssut

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. The admission process is through the OJEE COUNSELLING. It is the counselling only for the students of odisha and anyone out of Odisha appearing the OJEE examination. The eligibility of our college is 45 percent. The admission process is quite hassle free. As once you got the seat in ojee counselling....Read More

I applied for outr Bhubaneswar and vssut burla. I was getting electrical branches in both the colleges. But in outr there are not enough hostels for student neither the campus is that much attracting. O the other hand vssut have total 11 hostel and can accommodate every student studying and the campus is also somewhat good. But for csit branches there are not enough facilities in vssut To get admission here you have to get a rank in jee main exam and have to go through ojee counselling. To get to cse branch your all India rank must be within 1lakhs and for electrical branch its about 1.5lakhs and for lower branches production rank does not matter that must there are seats pending vacant you can get them via spot counselling...Read More
