Entrance Preview
Entrance Exam : MH-CET. Scored 110 marks in entrance exam and then applied for CAP rounds. First 3 CAP rounds i didnt get seats. Then i applied for 4th CAP round and i got seat in PIIT. I stay at Nallasopara. And my college was at New Panvel. Its nearly 3+ hours away from my home. I used to travel daily for 6 to 7 hours. One of my friend was also studying in this college.

The Department of Information Technology and Computer Science came into being in 2001. The Department was started with the object of promoting specialised knowledge in the field of Computer Science and Computer Application. Internships Opportunities
Pillai college provide internship as well. Fees for the entire course are as follows PGDM Biotechnology – Rs. 3 lakhs, PGDM International Business – Rs. 3.5 lakhs, PGDM Banking & Finance – Rs. 3 lakhs, Masters in Management Studies (MMS) –Rs. 4.5 lakhs, The placements have been 100% in the past few years with an average salary of 4 to 4.5 lakhs per annum. Placements under marketing are the best.

Admission

The college was very far from my house. But then too my aim was to become a Computer Engineer. So, i didnt see the travel timings and all. I just joined. My dad was against the donation fees. He told me that i wont pay any donation fees to take admission in college.
Faculty
The faculty at M.E.S. Pillai’s Institute Of Information Technology (PIIT) is really good for a college on the outskirts of the city, with the students and teachers sharing a good rapport. The mechanical department faculty, it seems, is one of the best in (well not technically, but anyway) Mumbai.
