Remarks

No, I didn't apply for any quota for admission. The minimum percentage to take admission was 50 Percent due to the covid-19. 2 staff explained to me about the course and about placements. After the admission, they took a Bootcamp session.

I choose graphic designing and multimedia because I was interested in drawings and wanted to learn new software. Faculty members are very nice. Faculty members were all highly educated and were very good since it's an online class they are all trying their best to teach us well.

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Students of the department are able to deal with a wide range of technical and on field challenges through the experience that they gain from industry oriented projects. Electronic Media: Newsroom, production, PCR, MCR, writing news for television, etc. Sr. Producer (New Delhi) Mr. Amit Sharma( IBN7 [Rebranded as News18 India]). Print Media & new media: Journalsm in the Digital World- writing news stories, etc. Bureau-chief (Kolkata) Mr. Sobhojit Bakchi ( The Hindu ). Industrial visits: NDTV 24*7 (New Delhi) NDTV India (New Delhi) Hindi Khabar (Noida) Mahesh Bhatts Theatre (Kamani Auditorium, New delhi). After getting my degree ill be a freelancer and work from home.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is a little expensive and fees for one semester is 40000. I didn't get any scholarships. But looking forward to the internship in my last years. Overall a little expensive College, didn't get any scholarship.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.
