Osmania University, MCA

Remarks

University College of engineering Osmania University Hyderabad, it is good for students those who Willing to get study by themselves, here more impotance gives to students and their talent will be encouraged in the college. There are so many free workshops and competitions will be conducted in the college. But it is bad for the students those who are dependence on only lecturer in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose because of University certificate value. But the faculty for MCA course is bad. The method of teaching is not at all good. Term exams will be conducted timely. We have to depend on our own preparation and not much difficult to pass.

Class Size: 60

Internships Opportunities

I have not opted for internship from campus. There is only one internship program which certified from ISRO and there is no stipend for that internship and no roles offered after internship and it is can get by very limited puple.

Placement Experience

2.5

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, Deloitte, Thompson rioters, cognizant, byjus, Accenture, these companies are visited so far and no. Of offers made for each company is very less only 1 or 2 some companies doesn't even made offered. My plans after getting degree. First and foremost thing is I should join in the private institution as everyone else do.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have got a free seat in the university. I didn't get job in the campus and there less placements for MCA comparable to other courses in the college.

Campus Life

There is infinity anual fest conducted. Availability of books and journals in the library is, there is we have central library for whole University and computer science department library and college library. There provide us a library card with that we can get the books very easily.

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for a hostel facility too. I have provided with separate cot, study table, chair, rack. Meal quality is very good, fully healthy food they provide and menu is every day egg and fruits different types of breakfast and weekly twice non-veg.

Admission

TSICET-2018 1043 rank

PRIP - A green safe research-focus pharmacy institute in Hyderabad

Likes

Green campus, its safe for all. PRIP is well connected and has a good learning culture. Professors encourage to pursue higher educationa and dream big.
Cafetaria, librabry and cleanliness is there at PRIP
They invest in technology and AI, it has a VR simulation lab and innovation center which has the latest pharma machines

Dislikes

Sometimes we feel it can get more bright
teachers are friendly, but i think they should focus on English as a language inside campus. It will prepare us for industry
digital labs should be used more and should be used for personal non-pharmacy learning on linkedin for networking and exposure. we have skill development but it can be more applied.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good. we have tie-ups in many good companies like HEtero, Aurbindo Pharma, AIG, Northpharm, Intrachem, Analys Labs, Medplus.... They also give workshops and training session. PRIP Placement cell is very dedicated in getting all of us placed. Packages is also decent and industry average

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

my college have good hospital facility but it lacks patients and the college infrastructure is good comparing to other college
the college have a strict uniform rule for all other courses there are different type of colour uniform
the faculty which teach me in 2nd year are all qualified and are senior proffesor

Dislikes

the fine process for delaying just for one day they fine is implemented around 100 rupees
the strict punishment they give to the students is the other thing which i dislike
in the name of college event they take money from the student but they still don't offer them lunch atleast not even snacks

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course offers us a 1 year of internship in the hospital and also give stifend and also allow the student work in college pharmacy in the hospital the college timmings are from 9am to 3:30pm and for every year they conduct the university exam which is an annual exam each year we write 6 subjects

My college experience inOUCE

Likes

One thing I like about this college is how the environment, good weather as there are many trees and garden to seat and have some fun.
The next I like about the college is about our faculty and the infrastructure.there are amazing teacher to explain the some of the toughest subjects ,lab are too good .
If some like to prepare for some other examinations like gate, civils .we have lot of free time to prepare for all other exams

Dislikes

Even though we have a good ground, there are many people in the ground who would distrub u ,these people come here for jogging and playing different sports and but they are not from our college
Wifi is not good the signal strength in our college is not good and we don't get good internet even from the mobile networks too.this is more irritating many times.
As it is open campus many vehicles would be passing and many unknown people would there around.we just have only one technical synopsis,as many private colleges have more than one fest.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good, many of my friends have placed but I haven't placed yet and I am searching for the job ,and I have been applying for the placements and I have been for interview in some of them and not selected for the job.

Obgy OMC

Likes

Main thing is patient load is good so you will learn more
Hands on opportunity for pgs to do lscs is high ,so we will become very good at lscs surgery

Dislikes

Work load is high so you need to sacrifice your sleep in duties .shift time to sleep will be less
Hospital is less hygienic, mainly basic investigation like CBP lft and RFT pt inr will be done at any time

Course Curriculum Overview:

My internship at osmania medical College made me understand that I will like obgy. Mbbs students will do 6 weeks of internship in obgy department. We will learn how to perform deliveries and do episiotomies and suture them. Pg in obgy from osmania will be good enough to face the real world but mainly we learn obstetrics. For gyneacology surgeries we have less exposure. We will get opportunity to assist in total abdominal hysterectomy in final year few times (around 2 to 3 times) Exam will be in final year and most of pgs will pass the exam

The infrastructure is very good and the garden maintenance was nice , multiple buildings are there for different course classes and campus is well secured by security guards every where and good behaviour of administration dept and library available
Teaching staff will be there with good subject knowledge and good personality and behave well and they never tied of studying us
I love this village like vibes around college it gives peace pleasure and am always happy to join here

Dislikes

Sometimes they ask to pay fee just after few weeks from academic yr started
They give always importance to prestige of college
Sometimes feel stressed in exams time and they didn't inform the required important information in time

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmd is a good course but mostly in india it is still under development so after the completion of course the opportunities for job or placement are less but if u work hard no anything can stop to meet the goal This course provides doctorate
