Remarks

On overall basis I conclude that my college is good. They really need an improvement in canteen, hostel and mess facilities. They should also improve drinking water facilities.

Entrance Preview

No, I didn't take up any entrance examinations. Since I wanted to enjoy my holidays, I didn't apply for any entrance examinations and even though if I had applied I would not have gone through preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yes, the course structure is divided into 8 semesters. Each semester handles 6 theory subjects and 2-3 practical subjects with total credits equalling from 23 to 28. Also each theoritical subjects consist of 5 units and similarly practical consists of 5-10 exercises. Attendance should be minimum of 75% in order to appear for the end semester examination. Internal marks are given according to the performance in internal examinations.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provides internship. I have heard things from seniors. But I am not sure about the stipend stuffs and all. Maybe they provide good stipend and many skills in order to survive in computer science field.

Placement Experience

4

Placement and job opportunities are very good in this college. There are many companies appearing for campus interviews in this college. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Ashok Leyland, Zoho, Tata Motors, etc visit the college every year and the mass employer is TCS. And also many Business Process Outsourcing companies visit the college.

College Events

3.5

There are many events in technical, cultural, management festivals in the college every year. College conducts many workshop events, technical fest and symposium and they do not give On duty permission frequently. They give only On Duty permission if you are good in academic studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, fee structure is feasible for students. In that fee structure, they provide most of the facilities like tution fees, transport and library facilities. But other than the fees we are required to pay separately for our own stationary needs in Xerox shop. We need to pay separately for study materials. There is no separate student portal for students to access elements like study materials. They provide it only in Xerox shops and we need to pay them in order to get those notes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship facilities are available in this college. They provide scholarship for students who have secured good marks in their school education. They provide various schemes for students from poor background and good study knowledge. Thats the thing to be appreciated.

Campus Life

3

Yes everything is good. They conduct many events and games in the college. There are many events in technical, cultural, management festivals in the college every year. College conducts many workshop events, technical fest and symposium. Each year they conduct many different kind of events in each department. All students are eligible to take part according to their interests.

Hostel Facilities

3

I am not a hosteller. But from many hostel students, I have heard that the hostel and mess facilities are poor. The drinking water facility is bad. Each building will have drinking water from RO in each floor. But that water is very bad ib quality. Only the hostel and canteen water is good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yea, senior students are helpful by providing us tips to clear the internal and external examinations. They provide us with enough details about the whole department. So we don't have any issues with alumni and seniors.

Exam Structure

The examination structure follows the syllabus pattern of 2013 Regulations of Anna University. According to that pattern the question paper consists of 10 x 2 marks and 5 x 16 marks respectively. But now for the current third semester they have updated the question paper pattern. Now the current pattern is 10 x 2 marks , 5 x 13 marks and 1 x 15 marks.

Admission

I went to administrative office and bought the form. Filled the details. Handed over the course fees. Submitted the form and got admission. I also went to have a look of how the college was. I explored every blocks in the college and it was very nice. I liked the atmosphere over there. Had a little knowledge about department and stuffs from the person studying over there. I thought I will like this place and so I decided to get admission in this college.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculties are good. They handle their subjects very well. They even conduct coaching classes for students if they fail to pass in the internal examinations by providing them important questions and study materials. They provide us with live interaction and atrention. Their main tendency is to make students concentrate the classes so that they can easily overcome difficulties in studying.
