Remarks

Seriously no Bad at all. It is very strict many say but If we study properly, get good grades and behave yourself in class room then no one bothers you. Only thing i felt difficult was attendance as they expect 95%. I hardly had 95%. We can manage with more 75% and take up exams my conclusion - If you get a seat then just go and join unless you have seat for you in the some IIT's and NIT's.

Entrance Preview

CET-- I got 2449 rank. My intention was to get into the Computer science domain in the best college of state. There was no interview as such we just have to clear the Entrance test that's all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Excellent Because we can find the best of best lectures who have huge experience in the field of teaching as well as research so structure of course and the Guidance you get both are just awesome. college has people who have worked for the Great organisations like ISRO and Many more Tech giants.

Internships Opportunities

Pesit is Known for the placements They have the best of the best companies coming to college. around 100 to 150 companies turned up. Out of which at least 50% of them had given the internship option. Stipend varies from 15k to 50k.

Placement Experience

5

How many were placed? everyone in CSE and ISE and almost everyone in the other branches with %of more than 80+. How many companies came? extremely hard to say because more than 130 did come. Google, Microsoft, Cisco, intuit, Juniper etc in the higher end and infosys, wipro, accenture etc in the lower end. Package varies from 3.5L to 24L.

College Events

3.5

Atmatrisha- college cultural fest. (The biggest) samarpana, AYANA - tech fest and Every now and then there will be some event happening at the campus. Many people turn up for the events are majority of them are nerds :P (just kidding) it is lot of fun we get to learn lot more than just the syllabus and we can put in our resume.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is different for different category of people. CET being the least with 50K and Comed-K is 1.50L per year and management is quite costly for middle class people (obviously) it varies from 7L to 20L donations. after which they shall pay COMED-K fees of 1.5L every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loans are provided by college (come on) but yeah we have hell lot of scholarships offered to students who does very well in the academics. EX: MHRD, MRD. Topper awards (SAP Scholarships) etc. some depends on Income of the student as well.

Campus Life

4

Not that great as we can see in other colleges people we had around were too studious that they use to skip college fest and all there bad. gender ration is good. they will hell lot of workshops conducted along with hackthons, tech fests. students are diverse, we find people form all over India in large numbers. no fights based on any particular thing since almost all of them are nerds and very studious people tolerance Based on Ethnicity/race/religion/politics come on this is in Bangalore(karnataka) people here are kannadigas with kind hearts so don't ever expect any fights they are real quality folks.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are quite costly and are really strict. Id card is must to enter the Hostel and Non hostilities are not allowed inside hostel at any cost unless they are parents. But rooms are very clean food is average and have different kitchens ex south mess, north mess and food court. there are 5 different canteens in the campus with really good food at affordable price. If one is concerned about the money then better not to opt for the hostel and they can go for the rooms or PG's outside campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very friendly they just help juniors if required again this depends on the Personal interest of a junior. and there will be absolutely no ragging in the college. They are quite good they give valuable suggestions which will be absolutely helpful to academics.

Exam Structure

Exams are very strict. no option in the question paper when were there it use to be paper pen test but now some online test it seems I don't have much idea about that. But difficulty of paper is not guessable. sometimes easy and sometimes difficult rarely too difficult.even the paper correction is same. there will enough gap given between exams.

Admission

After I got good rank in the CET we need to attend the Verification of all documents in the CET cell, There they Verify the documents since it is the govt seat all the Conditions need to be met such as income certificate etc... Then With that Go to college pay the described fees and get admission done.

Faculty

4.5

College has people who have worked for the Great organisations like ISRO and Many more Tech giants they teach well and also have very good knowledge. Above all it is our interest because if we just go and meet them with some doubt they would never deny to clear the doubt of any student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
