Remarks
I applied St. Alberts college, Kairavattam campus, Kerala university but I choose Fatima Mata National college. i got admission to the community quota. The admission was based on the mark obtained in the degree course and there was no age limit for admission. The admission was split into 4 categories like general (6), community Quota( 4), EWS(1), Management(4).
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Physics, and I want to pursue Ph.D. in physics. That's why I choose MSc Physics. All most of all faculties are Ph.D. holders and qualified NET lecturership. Most of the teachers take classes using multimedia presentations, Seminar session was allotted for us to improve our teaching abilities. The semester exam was conducted every six months and the result was published within one month after the exams. In my batch students were passed all semester exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees were negotiable for us, and It was collected according to university norms, and they allow a certain time for us to pay our fees. there are so many scholarships for students depending upon academic marks and the annual income of the student family.
Campus Life
the college day was celebrated in the month of March-April. The library facilities are good and there is a separation of library books for both UG and PG students and in addition to that journals are also available in the college library. For MSc students, there is a lecture hall, computer lab, departmental library which contains science journals and various science books are available. In the Physics department, sports day was conducted before the college sports day and we celebrate space week and science day celebration. Every year we conduct the association day for the department.
