A Glimpse into our college- [SVEC], Tirupati

I have applied for the JNTU kalikiri but I didn't the course I desired for. So, I didn't attend that college. Yes, I have availed the quota of the reservation which is given for general candidates Yes, there were admission criteria for the college. There are no age criteria but we should get a rank less than 4000 in my quota to get the seat. The admission process is simple you should submit your certificates of grades 10,11,12 and you should submit your aadhar card and some other documents and the admission process is completed.

I have interest in these courses since grade 11. I wanted to study machines so, I chose MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. There will be 60 students in the class and the faculty are close and friendly enough to ask questions. The faculty are highly qualified professionals. The basic qualification to the teaching staff is M.TECH Generally, the exams should be held for 2 or 3 months but due to the ongoing pandemic, the exams are held back to back. The question paper standards are good.

There are many good companies which come to our college to offer internships. They offer internships to the students as fresher or they give training to them. The college makes sure that the companies which visit our college are genuine and worthy. The college takes care of internships. The college allows only good and worthy companies to meet the students.

The students become eligible for the campus placements from the third year. Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Kia are the main company's visited our college and there are a lot more companies which visit our college to give placements. Thirty-one lakhs per annum is the highest package and six lakhs is the average package. 80-90 % of the students get placed in MNC'S before they leave the college. I am planning to get a job in campus placements.

The fees are pretty good actually to the standards of the college. They don't hike the fees for the students for the entire graduation. The fees which were decided in the first year are to be paid throughout the graduation process. There are no scholarships from the college side but it was given by the state government for the eligible students. And the fees which are supposed to pay by the students are given by the government.

There are no fests this year because of the pandemic. Generally, they conduct Mohan Mantra every year which was a fantastic program. It was conducted in the month of September, it was held three days one day they conduct since fest and the second day there will be flash mobs and sports and third day Will be bang with fantastic stage performances. The library we have is one of the best in our district probably in our state. There are all kinds of books. Sports and extra-curricular activities are pretty good as the chairman of our college is an actor he always encourages them.
