I got SSIT in my third round of KCET, initially, I was not really interested because of that place and after meeting my teaching staff I started loving this college snd subject. Counselling day was really good and fresher's day too! Learned a lot and made good friends
Course Curriculum Overview
I got this subject and later the interest grew in me after meeting my teaching staff. 12:1 is a student-faculty ratio and my counselor was awesome, friendly. All teachers were good who had extreme knowledge both in and out of academics. We had a term exam once in six months. People say it's deemed university you will pass easily but no we used to have external and internal papers which were not so easy to crack
Placement Experience
From the 4th year, we're eligible for placements. Most software companies do come and students of the software department get hired and even some marketing companies also. 30% can get placement but core-related courses don't really get placed there. I got a job outside college after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined through KCET and as usual, fees are a little high. I used to get an NSP scholarship once a year. There were placements but more to software courses, core related placement were few which was quite disappointing
Campus Life
We used to have so many functions in a year. all were awesome and the library is really really nice as all know and it had varieties of books. I have been part of the IEEE technical group. Students had BRIO, RENEGADES, VARSITY CIRCLE and so many other groups
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was good but it's quite high priced compared to facilities. I stayed in a campus hostel with 3 members along with me in a room. Though it was good we used to face lots of water problems. Our first warden was really nice. Food needs some improvement and also the facilities for such price
