I had counseling at masab tank polytechnic college. It was smooth and later I got my id and password through which I have kept the web options online. I got the seat in matrusri engineering college mechanical.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college has 1:3 faculty to student ratio. The curriculum in the first year is the same for all branches and core subjects start from the second year. The core subjects are SOM, TOM, THERMAL, DOM, MMS, etc. There are only 2-3 professors per branch. The exams were moderate level to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities through college are less. So we have to look for outside companies. The advantage of college is it is clean and neat but there is no enough ground to play cricket. But basket ball is available.
Placement Experience
From 3-2 semesters students are eligible to attend the placements. The companies for mechanical, civil, eee are not available. The scope of getting a job is only in CSE and IT groups. But all branches can apply for software companies also. The highest package is 9-10 lakh. The average package is 3-4lakh. The percentage of students getting placed is less in the mechanical branch. Max 4 students got placed in my class.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee when I joined in 2017 was 2017. The fee structure is Rs1,10,000 for students who join through TS EAMCET from 2021. The fee reimbursement for applicable OBC students is Rs35,000. The university exam fee is not included in the college fee we have to pay it separately.
Campus Life
An orientation day is kept at the start of the course. There is fresher's fest is conducted. The classrooms were very good and every classroom is an e-class room but teachers mostly don't use them. There is matrusri campus connect program which organized all programs in college. Industrial visits are less hardly 1 and internship opportunities through college are less we have to apply outside.
