Remarks
An average engineering college for bookworms not enough exposure, no science fest, no research oriented studies come only if you do not have any other options college management is nice and helpful though.
Entrance Preview
JEE main, my score was 68, and I opted for this college because I had no other choice also I got trapped in Councillor's words.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well , no focus on research in this college. Teachers are also not of that level. They teach with a mindset of passing the students not letting the students to explore the things. Once I asked a question related to the topic that was being taught at that time, the teacher said go to library and find your answer. Such is the level and mindset of the teachers here.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, internship opportunities are provided by this college but I do not know the details about it as I'm still in 1st year.
Placement Experience
For cs and it students it is average. Companies do visit this campus and max. Package was 6 lakhs as per last year for other streams it's very poor, college will ask them to go and sit for interviews in companies which do not have any relation with their stream about 60 percent of cs/it students got placement last year.
College Events
The fest of this college is called inceptra. It is a sports and cultural fest that last for 3 days. Every night is a star night, means a Bollywood star performs every night for 3 days this year Salim merchant, sulaiman and his band were the chief guest along with other Indian idol and sa re ha ma Pa winners last year popular singer kk had performed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible for localities it's well within their range(low fees) but for outsiders it's 90000 per year and 66000 per year for hostel.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I've not availed any scholarships. But the college rewards 20000 for college topper,15000 to second topper and 10000 to third topper.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good 24*7 wifi, mineral water, electricity everything is good except mess food hostel fee is 66000 per year.
Exam Structure
Not given the exam yet but the labs are well equipped and well maintained but again low preference of labs are given in our lab classes we are only given the manuals and the instructor asks us to copy it down.
Admission
I got admission in this college through a carrier counselor in patna. He initiated all the procedure and I submitted the fee in the college office. The administration was really helpful and without any glitches I got the admission. I arrived at the college and was handed an admission form. I filled it and submitted it, the manager helped me in filling the form. That was it.
Faculty
Below average. Instead of motivating the students, they will demotivate you they ask us to remember everything and treat us like we are school students. But it is not only the fault of teachers I think, the students here are also of poor standards. For making them pass is why I think the teachers do such things but good students suffer in these cases.
