Remarks
I got admission into the KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS by qualifying UPSEE exam and securing a rank of 2000. To get cse in this college you have to bring rank within 7k if you are of general category. Rest college is good but you have to study yourself only cause most companies are mass recruiters and to get a very good placement you have to apply off campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
First of all, I chose cse branch cause it's the best branch in terms of placement and a bright future. The faculty is well qualified and very helpful towards students. The exam is taken on time only. But the marks you will receive totally depends on your luck. I have truly seen this happening.
Internships Opportunities
You will get internship opportunities from the college itself but the companies will be not that great so you can apply yourself off campus for an internship by asking referral from a person who is working in that company.
Placement Experience
After 5 or 6 semesters companies will start coming, placement is average but if you have worked hard in the initial years that you can apply for off campus placements, cse branch students get 90% placement s while core branches have less.
Fees and Financial Aid
So basically fee structure is that you have to pay rupees 1,35,000 approx every year and that's too is tuition fees only, hostel charges are different. There are many scholarships also for the economically weaker sections and other categories.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are okay not too good nor too bad. There are many clubs to join whether it's cultural, sports, technical, dance and a lot more to explore, attendance website is created by students of kiet only for other students.
Hostel Facilities
First, have 3 hostels and the best one is CV RAMAN that I got, its interior looks is very good as well as the lift is provided to save time, the mess is good too and their food is very good. I loved their mess food, as well as ac, were provided in mess, rooms are great too.
