Remarks
The admission process starts in May but due to the Covid effect. KIET comes under AKTU so takes admission on the behalf of UPSEE counselling. Another method candidates have applied online through instutions web sites. Institutes short listed the students on 12th marks, then offer for written test and personal interviews. If person wants to take admission by UPSEE. He/She must give UPSEE exam and after it they must be partycipates in UPSEE councelling. Councelling occurs in 5 fase and last is spot councelling held. On councellin day students carry 10th, 12th marksheet, 4 photos, self aadhar card, father aadhar card, provosional admisson letter.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose EEE Branch. According to my this branch is one of the best branches in KIET. I am also interested in the Electrical field. In KIET the 40 students per 1 faculty. Faculty are well qualified and too much Hard worker. They tech subject along with discipline. The teaching method is too good they try to cover every point of the syllabus. Faculty qualification M.Tech, PhD, M.Sc ETC. In one semester there are 2 CT exams one PUE exam taken by the department.
Internships Opportunities
Internships get offered from inside college through the department and provide open internships from outside also. In KIET Internship policy comes from the IPC department of KIET. The internship started from 1 st year and every year every student need to do internships. Many companies provide Internships like SAMSUNG, C AND S, DIGIfuse, IBM FLIPCART, JIO, TATA etc. Many projects perform at the department level and MSME projects also perform.
Placement Experience
From semester the student is eligible for placement. Total 370 companies visited. Total offer 16237. The highest package provided 27.40 lakh average package was 4.27. Many companies visited campus for placement like Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Abode and many more. 93% of students are got placed after I completed my degree I participating in the placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of B.Tech in KIET is approx 5.43 lakh without a hostel. There are scholarships for the semester topper. Scholarship from U.P government. No job on campus. Some students get scholarships for minorities from the up, government. Another no any kind of scholarship is given by the college.
Campus Life
Many kinds of fest held in college but famous is Annual sports college fest. In this fest, kiet invites many colleges of Delhi NCR, Invites greats personality people. Held many activities like Rangoli competition, Jal Diwas, Blood donation Camp And many more. We get MY LOFT From the university for Journals and research paper access easily. In the library, we get many books on electrical and many research topics of this field.
Hostel Facilities
Collage try to provide hostal like home but rules and regulations are followed unless getting punishment. It provides a separates hostal for girls and boys on a college campus. Provides A.C room on demands. Each hostal one Warden that sees the discipline and maintenance. for safety 24*7 security guards are present. Provide students online complaint system and resolve it within 4 hours. If you want a room or PG then a single room and kitchen share get in2500 and get PG in6000 near KIET College.
