Remarks

The college should focus more on application based problems rather than the old numerical problems. More of extra curricular activities should be entertained by the management. More of practical work and application work should be there rather than the old boring thoery.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE. I achieved an AIR of 54k Selection in college was all India rank based. I was passionately curious about computer science. The education provided here for CS is pretty satisfying.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Computer science is about understanding computer systems and network at deep level. As I being in the first year they started with HTML,basics of Python and then C. Presently focus was on structure and arrays which is important as it helps to clear our basics. In future we will be focusing on Data structures and algorithms as well.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it provides us internship. There are certain hubs and societies in the college which provides us the platform. Me being in the 1st year not sure about the exact stipend but maybe it's around 10-12k.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements of Computer Science branch is pretty good. Companies like Amazon Delloite Cognisant SAPLABS come here for recruitment. But it all depends on your cgpa and performance throughout 4years accordingly you will be allowed to take the aptitude test.

College Events

3

The Impression fest takes place every year in Feb which is really fascinating and glorious. Many IT fests also take place like Cyber Shristi. Robotics club also organises the fest every year for the students. JMUN is also organised every year in the college which is considered to be the best in the NCR.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fee is pretty reasonable and satisfying. But the hostel fees seem lil expensive according to the facilities they provide us with.Faculty here is pretty good so the tuition fee is satisfying. More facilities must be provided in hostel or should reduce the hostel fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is available only to the UP board students. As such no special scholarships are provided to the bright students.

Campus Life

4

Campus life here is pretty boring as the college area is really small as compared to other engineering colleges. But because of the prime location it doesn't really matter. Gender ratio is 4:1 (Boys,Girls). Regular lab assignments and quizzes are taken. The robotics society of the college is amazing and really innovative. Many debates and discussions also take place.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are surprisingly really good as compared to other government colleges. Proper cleaning and maintenance takes place. The food is pretty healthy and hygiene. The menu changes every week so its fascinating. Though the food for Hostlers become boring and tasteless after some months but somehow we all manage and enjoy the food.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes,seniors have always been helpful. They clearly stated the positives and the negatives of the college. But in the end it all depends on the student whether he is willing to work hard or not. According the college provides him/her the platform.

Exam Structure

Aah. It's really hectic to attend all the labs and lectures because we need to have a minimum of 70% attendance. Every semester 2 mid terms take place and in the end of semester an end term takes place which has a higher weightage and syllabus. The exams are over within 7-8 days. And no gap is provided between the exams.

Admission

I achieved all India rank of 54k through IIT JEE Admission in college was rank based. According to ranks we got our streams. So the cutoff varies every year starting from 13k. This is an IT college so CS ECE IT are the only streams which can be pursued. So according to the rank of students they were alotted the streams. In which I got Computer Science. I was very satisfied.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is brilliant. But the course of the first year is boring and bit difficult. They are really sincere and dedicated. They provide the right education regarding the syllabus which the college follows. Certain tutorial sheets are also practised in the class for better understanding.

The placement opportunities in the college are average to good, depending on the branch and students’ skills. Several companies visit the campus for recruitment in technical, manufacturing, IT, and service sectors. The college also conducts placement training programs such as aptitude classes, interview preparation, group discussions, and soft skill development sessions to improve students’ employability.
