Best Affordable College

Since my elder sister also passed out from this college I also got into this college. I didn't look for more colleges, cos I wanted to complete my BBA as cheap as possible and I had my sisters earlier experience with the college. For admission, I was inquired about my academic scores to date and I had to appear for an exam for admission. It was necessary to score above 60% in that exam.

I choose BBA because this was suggested by my teachers and I always wanted to do MBA so BBA was the obvious choice. The faculty here are very nice and friendly, they were at help any day. They were 1 faculty for every 10 students. Since our batch was very diverse in language and culture, the faculty had to go through a lot, but they managed well and beautifully. They had excellent teaching skills and all were well qualified. There were 5 classes a day and each class was an hour-long. We had 2 semesters in a year, and I would rate the exams to be moderately difficult, in addition to that we also had 4 class tests and vivas and assignments for each subject in each semester.

We were offered some internships during the academics but they were mostly unpaid internships. But they gave us quite the expirience of the office works and the industry. The internships provided were mainly to the students who had scored and performed well in the regular classes.

We started receiving campusing from the 5th semester and since I was not sitting for campusing I am not aware of the companies that came but yeah my fellow students were quite happy with the packages they received and the campusing. I would say among the students that appeared for the campusing 95% of students got well placed. I planed for MBA after the BBA.

Since it was Kolkata the fees structure and cost of living is quite affordable. There weren't any scholarships as per my knowledge but the campusing offered was quite good. The placement cell was very good and always helpful. Only it was the university that didn't render any cost cut down during the pandemic.

Fests and different events were happening every month to keep the students a little distracted from time to time. The library had every book a student would need. The classrooms were well equipped with projectors and blackboards. The rooms were well ventilated and cleaned daily. For the college sports, there was cricket, football, badminton, basketball, and many more indoor games such as chess carrom etc.
