Amazing opportunities offered by lpu

Admission was much easy . I applied for lpunest by paying 500 rs and got the date of test in my city itself . I gave test and got 1st category scholarship 40%. Minimum age is 16 for admission in bsc and minimum required percentage in 12 th is 55%. Admission process was simple but lengthy. Because we need to fill admission form of around 50 pages . But it was easy to fill and even counsellors were there to help.

I chose BSc agriculture Hons bcoz my parents told me about ABT it and I found it interesting. There r about 60 students in a section. Teachers r quite good, and highly qualified professionals. All the teaching is done using the projector and labs. Even we go to the field every day: they give real life experience. There are 2 tests, the midterm exam and end term exam which is of moderate difficulty.

Mostly fertilizer and manufacture companies visit our college for placements. Companies like Syngenta, Sandra, etc., visit our college for students. Hardly 40% of the students from our course get placement. Students continue their internship in the company as soon as their degree is completed. Roles like field officers are offered to the students.

There are agriculture companies like Syngenta that comes to the campus for mass recruiting. The average package may vary from 2.5-3.5 lacs/annum. The placement for B.Sc. (Hons) agriculture is lesser than the placement percentage in B.Tech

Fees for one semester is 90000 rs + 2500 exam fees. But I got a 40% scholarship worth 36000rs so it's quite good for me. There are various scholarships provided by lpu in different categories like academic, sports and co- curricular activities.

One India- This is a huge event in which students from all over India get a chance to represent their states in healthy competitions. students set up stalls of each state and display the best of their state through models. there are food stalls, and game stalls all around. You'll see people dancing singing, playing doing competitions and spreading good vibes. It's like the LPU festival. One World- Since in the LPU campus there's so much diversity. we have a lot of international students as well, so this program is organized to showcase the different country cultures from all over the world. Youthvibe- students place their food stalls. we have dance performances, singing shows and we also have EDMs night. Different singers come to LPU for their concerts like Bpraak, guru Randhawa etc and different popular bands coming at the end of each day throughout the fest. This time, we had EDMs by Monster and Sunburn and we had the Laghori band performance.

lpu campus feels like we are locked up after 10:30 u can’t go outside of your block simply means NO LIFE. Instead, outside area like law gate is full of life until midnight pools, snooker, gaming, gyms etc. FOOD - worse worse worse, food inside campus mess. You can’t cook urself because no kitchen and food outlets are worse too especially for MUSLIMS AND NON VEGETARIANS…… sorry guys no non veg no HALAL …… nothing. Instead, outside especially law gate area is full of foodie streets all restaurants, 24 hour food delivery to your doorstep and all kind of cuisines and very very cheap and you also have options like Burger King and stuff and many more. People come from all over the world and everyone can get their taste at LAW GATE
