Remarks

There are many programs which can be chosen of their own choice.. The process is running smoothly. They gave perfect details of the exam day, counseling and details of the admission process. And i have applied for another college too and but i didn't join the college because I haven't seen the infrastructure, the teaching facilities.

I have chosen this Bsc (hons)agriculture because I want to help the farmers the society and the people related to the agriculture. There is the perfect time for the exam and is conducted smoothly and the question related to this was done in a proper way and was not difficult to pass a

Internships Opportunities

Many of the companies have roles and they are different from one another like it can be 1,2,3 months 6 months or even 1year. It depends on the companies which they selected. They have given stipends according to the jobs they offer . As an internship requires a lot of skills so many projects need to be done to complete the task given.

Placement Experience

Students who are in last year are eligible for placements. They offer different packages according to the course the degree that the student offer and the packages are not same for all. Some courses may have 4.5PA and some may have 3lpa so it is all different. Students who got placement are in many nos as the students studying are of many numbers.

Fees and Financial Aid

About the fees it is much higher than any but it is proper, they gave scholarships to all the students who attend the exam of the university according to their score mark basis, and they gave scholarships for every semester and about the campus job they gave so much opportunity to the students. They can sell whatever they want that is no harmful to the students.

Campus Life

Mostly social groups, clubs are usually run by students. Dance club, singing club, and many other clubs. Though it is run by the students it has full cooperation between us and tries to perform and show at its best level. Discussing what to do next what to show in the coming events and functions

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities provide us the perfect materials for each and every one of us. They provide a proper bathroom, toilet, geyser, fan including a cooler. Mess food is a bit different as we are from North East and we don't like much the food given in the mess. The registration process for a hostel is easy but the money taken is very much high and not affordable if they take for each and everyone equally

Life in PAU

Likes

Beautiful University, the landscape of the university is very stunning after rain it appears even more beautiful
Great infrastructure, old skool type buildings , big auditoriums, fully ac library.
Well reputed university, known all over the world for its achievements

Dislikes

Hostel conditions worst one never seen anything dirty like this
Girls hostel time upto 7 pm only in winters which should be near 9 pm, which is too early , they felt like a prison.

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

the theory and practical study is considered best as its comes under the best universities of asia . the academic system is inspired from the foreign studies system.
well the interaction with the faculty is good. As all the faculty treat us as their children. the college infrastructure is good.
well weekly advisory meeting are conducted which help in improving the overall academic performance and if we are feeling any problem we would share it with our advisor. As the class becomes yours family with the passage of time.

Dislikes

few faculty works just come to time pass as they don’t know the complete knowledge about the college courses timing, adding or droping date, not supporting the student academic wise.
proper examination rules and checking should be done to avoid further mistakes done by students
there should be proper parking facilities available. poor at maintenance of washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we konw horticulture & forestry are the two fields which generates more income compare to other agriculture activities. As time to time workshops are conducted related to trending topics in the every university.( skill development, Cv prepration etcs. since i am also the 3rd year student well university provides/ feels different vibe when other people just speak achievements of your university. the improvement in curriculum should be done on the basis of requirements of students.

Likes

my college building and campus area is very beatitiful and very large .
Our university library is also very big and useful for us and a museum is also in our university related to punjabi virsa .
university campus area is more than 1500 acre it has agricultural land in which Various crops are grown in field.

Dislikes

Our college classes are build in Old fashion there are no or very less hi-fi classes so no smart classes are there.
mess food of our university is also not too good
Hostels are also very old some are in very poor condition

I am a nature loving person so I choose this university PAU to do BSc agriculture as it is very growing sector curriculum is very nice and good so I suggest my friends to do this as well . the difficulty level of curriculum is a average or we can say more than average overall our course is too good

Likes

Equality among the students should be improved. And respect each the student.
Every staff members are good at joining after that we have to do everything. Here and there.
Some teachers are like professors and some are like assistant professors

Dislikes

Equality rights should be there for the student applications
1 day late for examination fee you have to pay fine nearly 2000/-
Security guards are very annoying and worst type of behaviour regarding the students

Placement Experience:

7 Sem the placement are start The highest package is 4.5 l to 5.5 l per annual salary 80 percent should be there to get best placement Keeping verified chai business and profits to my self and to prove myself

Faculty Behaviour is very good they interact with students and ask there queries
Hostel life is good as there is good wifi mess and other facilities according to the fee structure
There are lot of students those are getting admission in agricult Department due to university grade and accreditation in NAAC and ICAR

Dislikes

University management is not well if they can try there best they can boost up the university level

Placement Experience:

Placements are not better but as compare to other colleges it is good according to the less fee structure .The highest salary package is offered with 8LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. If you are getting admission for the placement so this is not the college for you.

Students are also placement offered by given Institute and various internship programs and companies are visited in this institution. The percentage of students getting places is almost 90 percent. My plan after doing this course is a job.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
