MBA in SMVDU Review

I didn't apply for any other college as SMVDU is a well-reputed university and comes in the ranking of one of the known universities in the north-region and also provides great campus placements. I didn't avail any quota for taking admission here. To take admission here, you just need to behave minimum of 50% marks in your graduation and need to appear in their entrance test known as "SMVDEE". For taking admission here all you need is to go to the official website of SMVDU and fill the application form and after getting the name short-listed you'll get admission here.

I chose this course because I wanted to do something professional in my life and wanted to prepare myself for the corporate world and MBA is the only program that allows you to develop your skills and shape yourself for the corporate world. There were 8 teachers and 70 students in my batch. The faculty of SMVDU is well qualified and holds experience of many years in the teaching sector.

Companies like Shriram, Prescon, Yes bank visit the campus and give internship opportunities to the students. I got the role relating to the marketing and sales department as I was the student from the marketing & sales department during my intern period and give me the stipend of rs.8000 per month.

Pre-campus placements start at the beginning of the 3rd semester and companies like Shriram, Prescon, Uflex visits the campus and recruit the eligible candidates from the university with a minimum salary of 4 lakh-9 lakh per annum. 70% of students get campus placements from the university.

The fee structure of SMVDU may feel you little bit high if you compare it with the other institutes in Jammu but the knowledge and excellence you'll get here are worth it all. The college also provides scholarships to the students who got more than 80 percentile in the CAT/MAT/CMAT exam.

Titiksha & Tatva are the annual fest conduct in the university every year for management students. During exam days mostly you'll face a shortage of books in the library. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have all the necessary amenities present classrooms. Sports fests are also conducted by the university where the students across India participate. VIKALP is a social group run by students.

Facilities like separate beds, almirahs, air conditioners with a beautiful view are available in the college hostel and there are 2 hostels for the boys and 2 for girls. A gym facility is also available in the university. The food of mess is not so great, you'll miss the food of your home here. Every student has to take the hostel room as it's compulsory here.

"Artificial Intelligence And Its Impact On Business" was the topic of my GD and both GD and PI round took place on the university campus. After passing the GD round you'll get an intimation from the university regarding your PI and after passing the PI round you'll get an offer letter from the university within 15 days.
