A glimpse of Bit Sindri

First of all you have to clear the jee mains with good percentile. Then only you can able to attend josaa and jceceb counselling. I applied for jceceb online. First you have to fill the counselling form online and pay some registration fees. Then counselling will begin and you have to select the branch of your own interest according to your rank. Then seat allotment will done and you have to secure the seat with some charges then two or three rounds will go on to improve your interest branch. After securing the seat admission process will start .due to lock down admission is conducted fully online mode .so you have to submit the required documents, most important residential certificate and pay the admission fees. Like this you will be admitted in bit sindri college.

I wanted to choose mechanical but my percentile is not sufficient to get that. So I was alloted with chemical. I personally feel that all branch is best. In this college 4500+ Student are pursuing btech, mtech and PhD degree with faculty members above 100 so Student faculty ratio is about 50 . Faculties are very educated and from the big institutes like iits,iisc,drdo,and nits etc. Their teaching method is application based and practical level. They often take us to lab, factory and videos for deep understanding and practical also. Exam is conducted twice in every semester mid semester and end semester.between exam there is also lab, viva, presentation and other activities. In my view difficulty level of exam is moderate to high. If you have studied well and prepared for the exam then you will get good grades. Student can take the help of books from Library to prepare for the exam.

I feel that student of this college has very high opportunity to get success. Because of internshala our most of the students are placed in internshala and learning and developing their skill with stipend of rs 5 to 10 thousand per month. Some of the internshala companies are Hercules, autodesk, byju learning, Philips, aurus network, Tata steel, Bokaro steel, amazon kohls, target, etc. Students mainly are in position of assistance and student partner who work from home or in site. Students contribute this companies to build software, application, design, model, calculation and estimate the cost and consequences. Some of the major projects are done by sindri students are design of an app, build a city, plan a garden. Develop a game, create a machine. Etc

Our college is famous for metallurgical department placement. Every year 75 out of 95 students are placed from metallurgical department. Same case is also with other branches but low placements in cs and it. Every year 71 to 80 companies visit and provides more than 600 offers to students. Some of the major companies are tcs, Tata ,cil, Wipro, byju,allen, tech mahindra, Samsung, jindal ,Honda, Bajaj ,companies visit and provides offer .I will rate 7.5 out of 10 were placed every year. From fourth year only you are applicable to get jobs and placed. Highest package of our college is 12 lakh from metallurgical and lowest package is 3.5 lakh from CS department. Average package of our college is 5 to 6 lakh. My target is clear the gate exam and opt job in psus.

fees structure is cost friendly and very minimum. Academics fees is 15000,hostel fees is 5000, mess fess is 30000 .electricity bill is 1500 and exam fees is 2500 these fees cost total 55000 for general students in a year. For reserved categories it is less than 35000 in a year. Every year there is scholarship program gyanjyoti from jharkhand govt to provide 25000 to each student for study. And there are many scholarship offered from the companies and govt along with internshala. So there is low burden of fees upon students. Internshala provide 5 to 10 thousand stipend in one to two month for every student who are doing internship. And many alumni sponsor some of students for their further studies.

Bit sindri has various acivities like run ngo programme with iit Kanpur, kharagpur organise blood donation camp,contribution in cleanliness of nation. There are more than 15 clubs in college some are open and some are closed.some clubs are arts clubs here three sections come instrumental ,choreo,drama, then Leo club which organise technical programmes in coding, programming etc, Rotoract club is mainly focussed in artificial intelligence and programming from which they build robots, drones, machines etc. Gandhi rachnatmak society is bookish culture who has personal library for the person who love to read the novels ,script,stories etc. Eco club is towards the greenery of campus and hygiene. Sports club is for the athletes and players of the college, literature society is writing club who published notice ,articles etc. Bitaansh is major fest of college where big celebrities join the college . Shardostav, spardha, hackathon, karma, are the some major. fest are celebrated in Osm way.

Here are more than 11 hostel for boys and more than 3 hostels for girls and many new are constructed. In hostel you will have separate mess, common room, laundry service, shop , bathroom, toilets etc. For first year student maximum 4 person in one room for 2 year student 3 students in one room and so on. There is anti ragging culture in our hostel and college where seniors are very helpful and generous towards their juniors. Mess food quality is good and every day different, for non vegetarian there is 4 days in a week where you can eat non veg. Roti, paneer, sandwich, oats,poha ,Idli, Dosa are served in breakfast. Rice dal Roti papad, chutney, acchar,sabji are served in lunch in evening there is tea and then dinner. Hostel bathrooms are well tiled and clean. In every room there is separate Almirah window and table chairs for study.
