I applied in St Xaviers Mumbai & Mithibai, Vileparle. I was not selected because of the high cutoff. The admission process in LPU is very easy and clear, you can get yourself enrolled into college just by your phone there is no need for an admission agent here. I choose this course as it comprises of all round knowledge in the commerce sector from which you can grab your domain and proceed for specialisation in the third year as well as 'Masters' too. Faculty is about 2800: 30,000. Actually, when you are in college you dont feel about the shortage of faculty as classrooms are bigger and faculty are trained professionals and herein LPU its seems ok we have more than enough faculty to facilitate our doubts. The teaching method is totally modern here we have our own messaging app LPU Live, our own class platform 'MyClass' and our own overall app LPU Touch from which we can do everything from our phone be it fee payment or hostel booking or appointment with the doctor in our college hospital etc. Term exams are conducted timely no lag in them and exam levels are more than medium on the side of tough.

LPU itself provides the opportunity to students to work inside the campus as well as LPU has a very good corporate connection in which you will be getting numerous internship opportunities from your second year of college itself. Companies like WNS Foundation arranges training for students which may vary from 10-25 days and hence provide internship in different domains.

At present, I am in the 3rd semester of my college life so I feel that it will be biased if I spoke about it. But as heard from senior placements depends on your ability and efforts rather than college as the college provides you with 800+ companies and dedicated placement classes all you have to do is work hard and prove yourself.

Fees has been increased by 30% which is really a great hike, if you want a comfortable hostel then you have to spend 60k per year and 30k for the mess. Plus 2500 is examination fees per sem. LPU provides a number of scholarships, even I know a few who are on 100% scholarship just have to prove yourself to the authorities and you will be awarded. Avg package to be honest is 4 LPA and the highest package depends on your efforts. It can be up to 12 LPA.

We have numerous happenings inside the campus every day ranging from events organised by a student organisations to international events. We have the biggest library in north India. The classroom is well equipped with ac, digital board, projector etc. We have 1000+ student organisations ranging from tire 1 to tier 5 in size.

In the category of the written test, there was only one test LPUNEST and after the commencement of classes, there was an aptitude test. There was an interview with the admission officer. I was confident enough that I will clear the round and hence I cleared it.
