Anjali Panicker's Review On Sumandeep Nursing College, Vadodara

I wished to get admission in mbbs gov clg, but unfortunately Didn't get good scoring in NEET so didn't wasted a yr for that, then decided to pursue any other medical courses. I had even got admission in B.Sc Biotechnology in gov merit list as well as BA English too. But unexpectedly I choose B.Sc Nursing as heard that it has more job opportunities and scope but it was not possible for me to get a gov seat for nursing in Gujarat as I have completed my 12th in Kerala. Then I came to know about Sumandeep Nursing College, so I came here and saw the college and it's surrounding and felt good about the clg and it's teaching facility so I took directly admission here.

I selected to do this course because I heard a lot about the nursing job opportunities and it's scope. The class strength is 100 and a teacher teaches these students for any practical aspects students get divided and according to things are being taught. For Bsc students Msc faculties and PhD pursuing faculties, for GNM and ANM students B.Sc faculties. Teaching method is good and understandable AV are being used by the faculties. They are very cooperative and helps the students in their problems. Examination were conducted every thrice in a year plus university exam, it was not such a difficult task to get pass in the subjects

Our internship is included within our final year course and it is done in our clg connected hospital itself. But we don't get any stipend or incentives for the internship as it is a private deemed university.

The annual tuition fee is Ninety Thousand rupees for bsc nursing. I don't get any scholarship as I belong to general category. Scholarship is being provided to OBC, SC, ST category students every year

Every year clg conducts an annual event of 7 days. 7 days different theme and different co-curricular activities from games, arts crafts, sports, etc and one cultural night programme. Beside this university conducts a cultural event on its foundation day where the different department of the university come together to celebrate it. The university has its own library with different varieties of book collection and has a big reading hall.

I stay in a general hostel where the bathroom is common. The hostel fee is 20000rs per year which is quite affordable. The room facilities is adequate enough to stay. The mess fee is 50,400 and provides 4 times a day. Daily variety menu are there. The mess food is good and they use good quality food products and can eat as much as one can, as there is no restrictions for that.
