Remarks

Bad thing what i see is only it should be bigger as it is now a university. Campus placements always have a room for improvememts. Else everything is good.Every where you may not get a absolute modern infra as college is quite old

Entrance Preview

I got here admission through comedk. Marks were 86 that gave me a rank of 16351.I got a seat in nd counselling in Cse branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college is a university actually that has its completely own course curriculum. It is affiliated to VTU as does not require to be. The course is fully updated and is the best in itself. College keeps organizing several events that make life lively over here. The exams and all are university based so are flexible. Papers are made and corrected here only

Internships Opportunities

Internship is a little bit problem. but only when compared to other things. Since our college is a bit far from Bangalore interning becomes problematic. But there is ample opportunity for startups on your own and the college even provides with room and fund if your idea deserves.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are close to 90%. Big companies like Microsoft, wallmart, Benz etc are our popular recruiters offering packages upto 14 lakhs. however avg package is 4 lakhs. Bulk recruiter is Infosys. Other companies like mind tree Accenture keep visiting

College Events

4.5

Events conducted are simply awesome. You have something entertain every week. The organizers dont leave any chance to keep that campus lively. You get so much to do and develop your skills that you cant imagine.Events such as sapphire trinity are organized with awesome prizes. These are organized by seniors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is 1.7 lakhs for comedk students. 50 thousand for CET students. 26 thousands for government aided seats of CET. Hostel is 33 thousand 3 seater. (2 and 4 type also available)Mess additional 25 thousand rupees is to be paid.Only cash or dd is accepted

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is not there.College scholarship is also not there. However you can claim one from other sources.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is really really awesome. Gender ratio in 2:3. So you can have a good time actually with your studies. Overall you are going to enjoy. Wifi works at a constant speed of 250 kbps. You get it in all buildings. In hostel there is only 1 router on each floor so you need to hang under the router if you are not lucky to get a nearby room. Campus is spread across 70 acre and is one of the biggest college in karnataka under comedk

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are good. College being of 1950 you may not find it that beautiful. There is a TV room. You get hot water upto 11 Am In common bathroom.Mess food is good.Enough good when compared to my frnds hostels. food is served 4 times. Sunday night mess is closed but you get food easily outside

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good. Sudha murthy. Ceo infosys was a students and has been a great alumni since a long time. Also there are many successful people and students in the alumni network

Exam Structure

Two internals take place of 50 marks in each sem. Each of 20(75 mins time) and 5 marks of assignment in each internal. Sem end is there of 100 marks (3hours). If you fail that is get less than 40% in either of the exams then you have to pass the same in year break by giving re exam in holidays. We dont have any scheme of carrying forward the subject in next year.

Faculty

4

Faculty are completely dedicated towards teaching and are very helpful. They dont spare a single minute free or as a waste. Classes are engaged regularly and on time. Since the college is of 1950 there are many much experienced teachers which we get from 2nd year onward

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
