Remarks

I did not have any quota during admission. I had joined the institute through CET. Overall the college fees are good, but the hostel cost is too high for the amenities given there. The admission day was good. The college had displayed documents to be brought for admission on their website, hence we did not face difficulty with missing out on documents during admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The teaching of faculty is up to the mark, and the labs are provided having good amenities. The internals conducted was later beneficial as we could refer to the same question papers for preparation of our final sem exams. However, there is a bit of partiality here, as there is favoritism observed here in our department.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th sem towards. Various companies are visited namely Infosys, VMware, Juego Studio, SLK, Cognizant, TCS, IOPEX, Robosoft, Tech Mahindra, Jaro Education, Automotive Axels, etc., This year, placements weren't much affected in spite of the Covid-19 Situation. This year, the highest package offered was 10 lakhs and the least was 2 lakhs. Almost 90% of students for sure are placed every year here. I am placed and soon going to join a company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The hostel fees is just too much here. Parents, a kind request to you, don't just go and see the junior girls hostel, but just have a look in the interior bathrooms of the senior girl's hostel, you may thank me later for that. Overall, the study atmosphere is good here, with a lush green environment all around. Day scholars will find college the best, also the bus fees are reasonable here. The placement opportunities provided are good here, and also the scholarship.

Campus Life

2.5

There is only one grand fest conducted here, Aakriti in the month of Feb or March. We used to wait for that one fest so that we can enjoy it the most. Amenities in the classroom are ok, however digital learning is present here, for easy learning and understanding. The library has an abundance of books to choose from ranging from a wide range of books. Also, various clubs are present and students can enroll themselves in these.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The hostel is fine here as compared to the fees taken. Meals provided are good here, and for a change, you can choose new items from the menu on a pay and eat basis. I won't recommend you for a hostel, instead up and down could be a better option.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.
