Remarks

The other entrances I gave included IITHSEE and TISS. I didnot qualify for HSEE and got into HCU before the results of TISS came out. My rank was 35 under OBC reserved category and I was on the waiting list initially. The integrated program is for students planning to do a 5year BA MA course after 12th. Entrance cutoff varies each year and there will be a counselling for the first list of students who cleared the entrance. Once the seats are filled, the remaining people in the list will be in the Waiting list officially.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am passionate about Social Science and hence I chose it. In the center for Integrated studies the faculty student ratio would be around 2:6. All the professors are highly qualified and among the best in field. There is no examination stress involved as the courses and examinations are designed to best suit student interests. End semester exams are conducted on time after which comes the vacation. The curriculum overall needs a little more improvement considering the present day demands however Integrated program in Social Sciences is never a bad choice.

Internships Opportunities

4

Rural development and other related internship opportunities are available for social sciences. The perks include a stipend and certificate. Other courses offer a wide range of internship opportunities for students.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are available for Social Sciences too, education companies like NEXT Education and schools other popular tech companies come for placements in your final semester. A good number of students get placed overall every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the Integrated program per semester would vary from 2k to 4k. The students union makes sure that unnecessary fee hike policies are revoked. The university provides a scholarship of 750-1000per month for students of reserved category.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest is called Sukoon it is a three-day fest that students enjoy to the fullest. Sports events football and cricket night cups are all conducted regularly. There are many study circles and other co-curricular groups including the MUN. The campus is beautiful and vibrant, everybody falls in love with the campus beauty.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel accomodations are available within the campus along with mess and wifi facility. Meals from mess are average and comes at a minimal base fee per day. The hostel fee is 500per semester. The mess is published by the end of every month.
