I tried LET, But not passed hence opted out the college. Interview or admission process was simple and comfortable.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure was excellent in terms of electives. Only chooses the least easier and the one at which some one from the department is specialised. Others are equal to the same which issued by Anna University. But, all over the course structure was good, easier, optimum mark scorable and simple.
Internships Opportunities
As per my knowledge in the terms all over internship, college is superB. Which is the only (Or the least easier way) to attract more students in to institution. The hike in internship is not only the institution's power, which also deals with the competition between colleges because of Coimbatore already have more than a century of Colleges, mainly on Engineering and Arts.
Placement Experience
As in case of civil engineering (I studied it), no much opportunities available in the terms of placements. But, still Institution made a way to higher amount of placements. In case of civil alone more than 10 students got placed as per my experience and knowledge it is the optimum on that time in this field. Also, many of them from most of the departments were placed and have a starting salary of not less than 10K.
College Events
There were more to tell about the events. But, shortly we celebrated every cultural festivals of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra and also some of north indian too. They includes Onam, Pongal, Tamil New year, Aadi, Vishu, Telugu Varudam, Holey, Diwali etc. Also conducted technical and management festivals. They were good days on colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
In terms of scholarship and loan facility, I say institute is good. for those they are best in studies awarded with scholarship and fee reduction while those are poor too get fee reduction as well as loan. In terms of loan college played a vital role for those they are not equipped with the cash. In my views a social engineering is done by the institution.
Campus Life
If in case of gender ratio it is poor, less amount of girls were opted the college. Still I wonders why they do like. And in case of workshops there were have workshops on every semester twice for a department and it is best one in my life. There were no issues marked with any religious, regional, gender and political issues. For me silent one with a roaring rise.
Exam Structure
Exams were conducted on the basis of Anna University schedules, there were no influence of any institution on exams. But, the pre requirements of exams were excellent and also requirements during exams were also excellent. Drinking Water supplied during exams and assured electricity there. Also, full time light with fan was assured. Also lab exams too have good facilities. it conducted mostly before theory exams start.
Admission
Because of not qualifying for the LET I decided to took a seat on any college at which point my friends come up and described about this institution. The administration deal everything nicely so, there were no trouble for me in the admission process. Simple and straight forward. And forcibly signed to Anti ragging form.
Faculty
On first time of my experience, I think that the faculty was utter flop. But, with time I realised that the faculty is not much as bad as my expectation. It have a large number of goodness and dedication. But, the lack of teaching experience and teaching knowledge is the villain in this case. But, institution provided newer, younger and ideal persons in to faculty.
