JEE, Score-149 I heard good reviews from many of students for the BVM engineering college thats why i choose this engineering college. And this college is really good and has a good faculty also.

Course Curriculum Overview

The mechanical branch of our college is famous in gujarat i heard this. So i choose this college for mechanical engineering and this is right thing . This branch is very good and very good faculty also. All lectures and labs are taken in systematic way and there are lots of things to learn.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provide internship in between 3rd year and 4th year. First of all we have to take a permission from the principal and than we are eligible for the internship.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities given by the college is relatively good. Good working students and hard working students are placed from the college. Generally big companies like Reliance, gsfc, l&t, tcs choose the students. Reliance give the approximately 5 lakh package and and gsfc give the 8 lakh package and others company gives the approximately 3 to 4 lacs of package.

College Events

There is lots of events celebrated by college. The main events celebrated in our college is UDAAN. Another Tech fest is fusion. Every year GTU arrange the XTIJ. The students learn lots of things by this events and many students show their ideas and inventions.

Fees and Financial Aid

College give the many scholarship s to the students who is poor and in SEBC, ST, SC category. For the Open categories students there are 1 or 2 scholarships given by the college. College gives the scholarship for the hostel fee and college fee.some scholarships are given to the special students by the college.

The campus of our college is comparatively smaller than other colleges because of the meddle of the city. Every year sports activities arrange by the the college and it includes the cricket matches, chess, badminton, vollyball, football etc. And for the improvement of the personality the college arrange the the Contributer personality development program. And for the scolar students the college arrange free of costs labs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility provided by the college is average. There is to hostel provided by the college for boys and one hostel provided by college for girls. And hostel is approximately 50 years old so infrastructure of the hostel is very old. And facilities provied by hostel is very poor so students does not face that problems

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Exam Structure

Each of the semester there is two exam taken by the college. First exam is mid semester exam which is taken by the college and second one is external examination and it is it taken by Gujarat Technological University. The Practical Examination is taken by the college for the external examination.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is good. For the mechanical branch to Faculty is very good. All faculty are good working and has a dynamic personality. they teach the student new and new things. Some faculties have strict behaviour while some faculties have friendly behaviour.

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

FROM 6 TH SEMESTER THE STUDENTS BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT THE COMPANY THAT CAME FOR CAMPUS PALCEMENTS ARE INFOSYS,IBM,TCS ETC. THE HIGHEST PALCEMENT IS IN THIS YEAR IS 25 LAKH 95 PERCENT STUDENTS GET PLACED AFTER THE DEGREE IS WILL BEACOME A CORPORATE SLAVE

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

all faculty member is good give the best lecture.it is government college so all faculty come in the college
in the LD college placement is super till now because most of company same as other private college
infrastrure is quite good here all side greenary and animals all other.and many social activity happend

the hostel food is not good the students are very unsatisfed

The campus life is great as the atmosphere it consquires is way better than the three experiences I have had at Maharaja sayaji rao university of vadodara, Vishwakarma government Engineering college and Parul University respectively. The atmosphere
The atmosphere cultivates studying and friendly competition Between the peers,it doesn't quench that competitive Nature and rather it amplifies it, also the boy girl ratio is good.
The faculties are the best, and it's not just me all the students feel that way as some faculty are from IITS and some are very experienced and have had decades of research experience in that field.

Dislikes

I think here you focus a lot more on studies rather than extra curricular activities so I think that can be improved
There are too many lectures in a day, conpared to my friends in svit I have around 2 hours worth more of lectures
The wifi and connectivity and there being counsellors is stated but it not implemented intensively

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.

the discipline of VVPEC and strictness towards academic studies , ensures focused environment
the college encourages students through substantial scholarship of 25,000 INR for top student in each class to motivate.
well-equiped library facilities provide resources for research and learning

Dislikes

lack of emphasis on sports initiatives , less opportunities for physical activity and team spirit.
stringent policies limiting cultural events and less vibrancy in campus lifestyle
very limited option in canteen and limited space to hangout with friends .

Placement Experience:

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

The campus life is so good and there are many clubs
As the faculty of technology and engineering MSU is best colleges so good placement opportunities
Infrastructure is also good labs are well maintained

Dislikes

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage

I chose it because of two reasons: 1) The placement ratio for this college in computer department is very good as compared to other colleges. 5-6 LPA is an average package that the students got.
