Delhi Technological University Good aspect- 1. 75% Attendance factor is not that strict.2. Great college life and hostel lifePursue any activity of your choice. 3. Join any society ( music, dance,arts. computer, cricket, badminton, table tennis. enterpreneurship) 4. Class bunking is frequent5.Great peers, lots of learning, more competition menas more improvement6. Amazing fests and parties, many celebrities visit campus in 4 years, lots of fests from Technical fest to cultural fests.7. Major project often includes research paper which helps to have publication under your name.Bad Aspect - 1. Most important while selecting - lots of students means greater competition for same job, competition is high in on campus placement as compare to NSUT or NIT or IIT.2. Almost same number of companies for internship, although for internship, mostly cutoff gpa is higher -7.5 -8 or higher,stipend can vary from 10K to 1.5 lakh per month, I joined Grofers which offer 30K

Life is great, no pressure in attendance, join any society, participate in any activity, puruse from music, dance to event management, entrepreneurship, to tech groups, to great trips, Sports team is also great, can join badminton team to cricket team etc, Website development group, app development group

No, the admission was merely based on JEE mains exam rankFor JEE mains, test at my time even school percentage was considered to get overall rank, but now it was based on JEE mains marks, Around 10-12K rank is required at present to opt for software related branch (CSE, IT, SE) which requires around >170/360 marks

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.

Likes

College provided good exposure to the real life world.
It provided numerous society opportunities where we could learn more about different things except bookish knowledge.
Inter college exposure was provided which helped in numerous networking opportunities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure was very poor and old.
No support by the college for leaves for internship opportunities.
Poor teacher student bonding in the college.

The course curriculum is somewhere releveant to the course. It gives overall information regarding the different aspects of the course. Exams happen twice a year on semester basis and are easy to moderate level in terms of difficulty.

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

Likes

Campus life is so good, they plan trip every year
I loved the teaching method, the seminars that were conducted were very helpful
Pranav sir, nishant sir, ashish sir they are very supportive and nice. D

Dislikes

There is no ground but they do take you to cricket grounds and tounament is conducted every semester so you can join the cricket team and they will take you there, even for badminton and other sports too

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good. Even like after four semester, you get the opportunity to do internship and almost tap this get placed and according to the calibre, 10,000 50,000 15,000 if I talk about myself, I got an internship at Hero wide of 20,000 so and after that, also, I got the placement in the same company when they came for the place along with three swim. We also placed in the same and next year when I sit in the next place, they help me in getting a job Italian's partner or what else can be better than this that they treat their student as a family. Even after when you're passing out, you don't feel like You are left out or you can't go again, so this is a thing which is really great about our college.

Canteens are the best in this college and food is hygienic
College infrastructure is good and maintained
Connectivity to this college is good just beside the college gate metro is there

Dislikes

Small campus size around 7 acres and large crowd
Library is really small ,there is not much space in library
Strict rules and regulations like you can't play untill 4 pm in the college ground

Placement Experience:

From the end of third semester students are eligible for placement. Tcs, accenture, Deloitte,amazon, samsung etc. Highest package is 42 lakh offered by Amazon. Eighty to ninety percent student get placed . I want to work in faang companies right now .

Likes

The timing of the college is very convenient to each and every student. My house is about 30km far from college but I reach the college daliy on time easily.
The connection between teacher and students is very strong HOD mam is also very good in nature.
The faculty, teacher is quite decent but there teacher method is really impressive.

Dislikes

The college have no infrastructure literally there are no ground in college and the location of college is in any village where no facilities provided to us.
Only with dtc bus can reach the college metro is about 10km far from college.
The college have facilities but they do not provide to us. There are AC in every class but no AC are functioning. Really bad experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I apply for the diploma in pharmacy in this college because at that time I do not have any other option to take admission in another college so I get admission in this college. The curriculum preparation to us for real world application. I suggest that the teacher are much good but please increase number of teachers in college. Teaching methods are good. Frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on difficulty level is Decent because we get less time to prepare for the exams.
