Remarks

ProsPlacement is very good compared to other tier 2 colleges.Educational Infrastructure is good for more hands on experience.Location is best where it is suited. Exposure is good.ConsFee structure is high.Mess food is not upto the mark.More focused on studies rather than other activities.Admission Process Based on Jee Mains score, you get into various branches.Generally you require a good score to get into Computer science branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is structured the way as it would be helpful for placement.Faculty:Student ratio is 2:35Faculties have advance knowledge on the topics they are teaching. Most of them have done their PhDs.There would be two internals in each semester and externals at the end of the each semester. The difficulty would be moderate.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 178000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I got selected in 5 companies in my college placements and have to give up 4 offers.I finally joined Cognizant with a salary of 6.75lpa and I work as a full stack developer there. My track is dotnet and I have been working in cart management project. The details can't be revealed due to privacy policy of Cognizant.

Placement Experience

4.5

In 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements and it continue till the end of their 8th semester. Many companies visited our college this year. Some of them are:- InfosysWiproCognizantTCSMindfireAccentureAptus Data LabsAbzoobaMilk mantraADPSevya MultimediaCapegeminiSyscloudSpikewellHighest package :- Infosys(8lpa) - Power programmerSpikewell (8lpa) - Software engineerTCS(7lpa) - System EngineerCognizant (6.75lpa) - Programmer analystThe average placement is around 3.6lpa and Placement percentage is around 90%.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is 178000 including hostel and 148000 only for academic fees for both the semesters. There is also an option for financial aid which I also took. If your father's salary is below 5lakhs per annum than you can opt for that facility and the fees would be around 93000 for two semesters provided you have a good rank in Jee mains.Campus jobs is good in silicon. I myself got a package of 6.75lpa.

Campus Life

The best thing about silicon is its Campus Life.If you are looking for campus life, silicon is the best choice. Being compact in size, you are more tightly connected with everyone around you. There are a number of clubs in silicon such as music club, green club, silicon students council, sports club, quiz club, ISTE, IEEE, CCC which will keep you engaged in different activities all the time.Silicon students council conducts two mega events Techfest and Zygon every year which lasts for 3days. It is fun for those three days.Apart from that the amenities provides are best, you can find books in library and you can be there from morning 8 to night 9. There is peace there.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, there is hostel facility in our college and they charge 30000 for it. Out of which hostel rent is 21000 and water/electricity bill is 9000. They charge an extra amount of around 3000 every month for mess fees. The registration is quite simple at the time of admission only we need to submit an application writing we want to avail hostel facilities also.

Faculties are very helpful they provide notes everyday what they teach
College students are friendly and affordable
They give many fests and cultural events

Dislikes

They discriminate between girls and boys always
Discriminate between locals and others mainly if you are from Bihar
Many fights between odia and bihari every year

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible in 8th semester for sitting in the college placement the average package is around 3 lakhs mostly companies are startup's like tech yatra , mtechin etc . Major companies like tcs , tech Mahindra also come

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Dislikes

Poor placement cell organization among student as well as authority

Many departments are having less faculties due to which study is hampered a lot

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester of undergraduate and 3rd semester of postgraduate student are eligible fir campus. But the number of companies come to take agriculture student are very less which is disappointing. Mahindra company comes which gives the highest package upto 6 lakh. Other ngo like pradan also comes. About 30% student get placement My plans are for civil service after my course

A pretty good college with scope of improvement

Likes

The campus life is amazing. Our student union is extremely hard-working, and they always come up with some events or other to make your boredom go away
Faculties are very knowledgeable and unlike most colleges, they actually want to teach. The clinical experience is unmatched
Infrastructure is top notch. Single rooms are available from second year, and the hostels are quite well maintained

Dislikes

The curriculum is a bit too strict regarding marks and attendance. A little leniency would have been better
The campus area is a little smaller compared to other AIIMS
Too much administrative red tape causes delay in almost everything, be it installation of new water filters or filling a pothole

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a doctor, and MBBS is the first step to become one, so I choose this course. This course makes you a primary care physician, capable of providing basic healthcare services. And being a bachelor's degree, this is a stepping stone for the future endeavours in medico life. Though I feel there's room for improvement in the flexibility of the course, as there's not much to choose what to study. Exams are once in 2-3 months, and are moderately difficult, except the professional exams, for which you have to put your best efforts

The frequency of timing is almost good. Student can study properly within the 2 exams time period. Bcom course as well as college as well as faculty is themselves a practical world .What going on this world that mainly study in this world mainly in the subject of economy.

Likes

Teaching is very good here , all the teachers are good except a few
Supportive seniors, help with studies n all
You will get a good environment for studies

Dislikes

Well campus isn't as we expected it to be
As always you have to choose your friends wisely
There's not a lot of fests going on yearly as like other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
