Remarks

I have applied for many colleges such as VIT, SASTRA, REC, and many more. But the course which I got from these were ECE, Mech, etc. I was keen on computer science so I had to reject those applications, and I got CSBS at R.M.K engineering college through counseling which was the best choice I have ever made. The management is so good, 90%+ placements per year. You will be able to gain more skills and experience as they conduct a wide variety of competitions and hackathons. I preferred CS as my subject but the 2nd round cut-off was 175 and my cutoff was 174.5. So unfortunately I couldn't get CS. But it was good to choose CS with an extra subject that is a business system.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Exams will be conducted after each unit is named as a Unit test, and 2 internals will be conducted then a model exam. So basically the time to study will be less as you will be having other courses to do which will be monitored by them, such as coding practice. Lots of projects will be given to make ourselves experienced in those particular subjects. As it is a pandemic period at the time of this review, I am not able to tell much about the inner environment of the college although we have visited it for 6 days for our practice exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Although the college doesn't provide direct internships, they provide details of the companies that provide them, so the students himself/themselves must make a correct decision to take up an internship. One company to which the management asked for an internship was Infosys which happened during a webinar.

Placement Experience

4

Coming to the placement side. The college offer placement for 90% of +students. You will be placed in a good company according to the skills and knowledge u possess. The placements start at the end of 3rd year. And many people have been given multi offers from many companies. 75 + companies visit the college recruiting. And almost all students will be placed. The max salary package is somewhere from 20 to 24 LPA and min is 5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I went through Anna university counseling so the fee was less as compared to the management quota. It was around 65000 to 75000 per year. Yes, it is quite affordable. And the food they give us is fabulous.

Campus Life

4

They have a whole library section in the college. And they too have a digital library in which the books can be searched for through computers. The environment inside the library is good. It is air-conditioned. In terms of sports, they have a badminton court, gym, and a basketball court. But I am not sure whether they allow us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
