Remarks
I have applied to the IITs and NITs but i don't get a seat on the top ones and the lower ones are either not very good or are far from my home. I have not availed any quota for admission, i got admission as a general student. The admission criteria for my program is at least 40% in your boards and it is on the basis of JEE Main score. The counseling was online in which a form comes based on the criteria and JEE Main score and i was selected.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because it has the scope of going to the govt sector. The faculty-student ratio is about 100:1. The qualification of the faculty is according to the Jharkhand govt criteria of obtaining faculty. I have attended online classes till now and the teaching methods are good but practicals online are not happening in a proper way. The term exams are timely and it is not very much difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The major of the internship opportunity is from Internshala with all the small and big companies like IMUN, Udany edutech private limited, Frozen writer, etc offering roles of graphic designing, content creation, web development, etc. There are many projects on different levels like making websites, Poster making, Content creation, etc, and the outcomes are perks and certificates.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement from seven semesters. The major company is L&T, TATA, J&W, TRANS RAIL, TSUISL, etc. The highest package is about 12 lakhs and the average package about 5 lakhs as of all the companies and profiles. About 50% of students get placements. My plan is to go to the govt sector and crack govt exams after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very low about 16,000 per year and there is an examination fee of 1,150 per semester. There is also the opportunity of a scholarship with Kalyan where you will get about 35,000 from the govt of Jharkhand for BC, SC, and ST students having annual income less than 2 lakhs. The jobs are good on the campus along with internships the average package is about 5 lakhs and the internship are mainly by Internshala.
Campus Life
There are about 9-12 fests in BIT Sindri all around the year. There is good availability of books & journals in the library. The classroom is simple with no special amenities. There are good opportunities of sports and extracurricular activities with almost all the major sports present on the campus. The extracurricular activities are also at their peak. There are many social groups clubs and websites such as Leo club Photographic club, Rotaract club, ISTE, IETE etc
Hostel Facilities
The room is not very much good and in some places, the room has small cracks. There is electricity, water, etc facilities in the room. The meal quantity is enough and balanced and the menu is good with three days nonveg to non-vegetarian and three days paneer to vegetarian a week. The registration process is simple. Yeah, you can rent a room but PG facilities are not much available in the locality.
