Jeevan's Review On Guru Brahmanand Ji Government Polytechnic, Nilokheri

So, one of my cousins was pursuing the diploma in the same college and my brother suggested I do the same. I was initially hoping to enrol in mechanical but I got the computer in the first counselling and I just went with it. On the day of counselling, I was missing a document that was pending from my school and I had to go back to my school to get it to rest all was hassle free. It didn't take much time and I had gotten the admission to the college.

As I mentioned earlier I wanted to choose mechanically but as got the computer in the first counselling I did not choose to opt in for second counselling. There were many students and I don't remember having a friend on the first day. The faculty was great however some of them were really lazy, to be honest. Some teachers excelled in their particular teaching. These methods were really easy to understand and they have my heartiest thanks. About exams, exams were held on time without any hindrances and it was not very difficult to clear them if you even have studied just a little. Some teachers really are strict who didn't let anyone cheat in the exams.

I'm not sure what to say but I don't remember names of the companies that came to offer internships. One thing is for sure none of them was offering a good opportunity with a good package that someone would be happy to join. For me, I had been selected in Wipro with administrator role and I had one month of training there in Hyderabad. Had a great mentor after that I was deployed in a Telecom project at Google where my job was to provide remote desktop support and Monitor the alarms, to do health check etc.

As far as I know, there were many MNCs came to offer internship but not a single one with good opportunities at least for us(computer science students). They didn't even let us take more than one interview if we were already selected in one. I could say around 50-60% of our class had gotten the offer but most of them rejected it because of the low package. I had no hopes for me to be selected in an interview but I am working in WIPRO LTD.

To be honest the fee was not really much I guess. When I got admission the fee was 2100/sem and after 1 year it was increased to 2600/sem. There were many MNCs who came to us to offer internships but I must mention about the interview things that were not good there. They didn't let us take us more than one interview if we were selected for it. Don't really want to mention the stipend and all.

Annual fest, tech fest, amenities, extracurricular activities. Actually, these are all jokes there. I have never heard any of these things there. Many books in Library were rotting, don't know when was the last time they had them renewed. Regardless, I enjoyed my life there with my friends be it in the classroom and outside the classroom.
