I gave CET Exam and in Online Counselling I applied for B.Tech CSE in GNE College and due to my score I got seat in first counselling. I choose this college because this college comes in top 100 engineering colleges of India and even it competes with NIT Jalandhar.

My First choice was computer engineering and I got the same stream. I choose this stream because I was interesting in exploring about computer hardware and software and in future I want to make my carrier in same field and course curriculum was good because teachers are well experienced and they gave me their past experience in same field.

No They do not provide internship in college, they send their students for internship in companies and than its all upto student that if student pass test for internship than they will get stipend.

Placement & Opportunities are best in our college rather than other PTU colleges and now GNE is deemed university so they have increase in placement graph and with the end of every batch they invites more & more companies and insure placement of student who pass test conducted by companies also companies provide good package to GNE students.

I already mentioned above that college provide so many scholarships either it is based on your area or your category so don't worry if you deserve it than definitely you'll get it.

Gender ration is 30% Girls, 70 % Boys, Lot of parties, In First semester you'll attend all workshops like carpentry, plumber etc. And you'll find lot of cultural activities and even you can participate in that. Political few students are strong from their background and students have ethics to deal with opposite sex or their teachers.

Hostel rooms are better than other colleges, there are two type of rooms, single room or 3 seater room but both are very good in facilities and even they have constructed new hostel which is of around 9 floors so they have very good arrangement for hostel students and in any case you need pg than you'll get PG in 1500 or 2000.

There are Internal Exams which is written by in house faculty and external exams which is written by outside specialists and you have to pas in both the exams than your semester will be cleared. Also if you are well in performing practicals and having good knowledge than you will be able to score good in both.

When I got seat in online counselling than I came for document verification and in that 2 days process I got admission. I belong to rural area but my education is from Kendriya Vidhyalaya so they asked me to provide rural education but my Father was retired from Army that's why they exempted me for rural education certificate and I got admission.

Faculty of college is well trained and well experienced but sometime when new teachers got hired than they will take time to get involved in the generation that how new generation wants to learn. But overall it was good experience with faculty as every body supports me.
