The admission process is quite good you can do it online or offline by visiting the nearby office of the lovely university or directly visit the university. Lpu has their scholarship program like Lpu nest if you pass the exam then you will get according to criteria and if you had 90 to 95 percent marks in 12th then you also you will get a scholarship as per their criteria.

I had opted for BSc hotel management as I want to become a chef so I choose this, faculties are quite experienced in their field like they have at least experience in their sector of 5 years and more. As the lovely university is very big and lots of students come here to pursue their degree so the ratio is quite good and you will get a good exposure. Mainly Class assessments are held from time to time then midterm then end term, not too easy, not difficult.

As many companies use to visit like taj Oberoi, Marriott, Hyatt, Leela and many more, they offer internships at different locations in India and out India also with their programs. Roles are basically of an intern is to get exposure in every department in hotels like front office, housekeeping, kitchen, sale department, food and beverages and many more. As exposure of internship in hotel management is good you will learn many different things and tasks, how to perform they, learn situation dealing and many more.

Mainly after completing 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. As I had done Bsc hotel management so companies and brands like taj, Oberoi, Leela, Marriott, itc, Hyatt and many more visits to hire students with negotiable or fixed salary packages. They hire for different locations in India and also provide facilities outside India at this time due to. Covid placements are not that much good but then also some companies visited. Salary packages are offered like 2.5lac -4 lac per annum and the highest is 4.2 lac per annum. Mainly every students get placed but due to pandemic tourism sector is not that much good so very less students got placed bad luck this time.

The program fee per semester is 80000. Lpu has its own scholarship program lpunest thought which students get scholarships based on how much they score. Category 1: tentative cut off is 150 out of 200. Category 2: tentative cut off is 125 out of 200. Category 3: tentative cut off is 95 out of 200. Lpu nest score more than or equal to category 1 cut off or 95 % or above marks in 12th or 10th. Scholarship amount(per semester) 40000(i.e. 50%of program fee). Applicable fee after scholarship (per semester) 40000. Lpu nest score more than or equal to category 2 cut off or 90 - 94.99% aggregate marks in 12th or 10th. Scholarship amount (per semester) 32000(i.e. 40% of program fee). Applicable fee after scholarship (per semester) 48000. Lpunest score more than or equal to category 3 cut off or 80%- 89.99% aggregate marks in 12th or 10th. Scholarship amount (per semester) 24000(i.e. 30% of program fee ). Applicable fee after scholarship (per semester) 56000.

Every day in lpu university is full of events outside the uni mall everyday DSA organise events like coke, sunburn, DJ night, the world record of bhangra, the world record of largest salad, fests and many more. Meet up with celebs are quite common in lovely universities. Lpu has a very good library with excellent facilities and the availability of books and journals are awesome with the number of varieties. Lpu academic community is well created By all departmental libraries. Library System also offer ICT based resources to its users like e-book, e-journals, Lpu also has a central Library which also manages an institutional repository for theses and dissertations. Lpu has a smart classroom with smart and well developed labs with good infrastructure. As lpu has different clubs for sports like this time gold medalist Neeraj Chopra of Olympics is from lovely professional university and many more athletes in hockey team of Olympics is from lovely. DSA club is run by students which is a very big club.
