Little knowledge about vit

I applied for christ University but in the interview round, i am not selected but the college is quite good, and the second college I opted for Vit Vellore. Where i got admission through my UG marks due to covid-19 scenario, I think this two college is best for MCA on private college basis. During Vit Vellore admission they give us a choice filling like which college we want in their University in between- Tamil Nadu, Bhopal, Vellore. And after 10days they will tell us whether we got admission in preferred college in our rank basis or not, Like i opted for Vellore and my rank is 324 around and total seat they said 240only but they take extra candidates too because after nimcet score or any other admission exam many students goes for nit, Jamia, Hyderabad, bhu, du etc. So by that way, i got a chance for Vit.

I chose this course because at 10th standard i didn't get science and got a commerce and after 12th i want to go in the software engineering field and only choice i have in my time is BCA and after that MCa for more advanced level study. My faculty is are from the south side, so the little language we get but it's ok they will talk to you English only and now is lockdown so I can't say briefly about them by judging in an online course. All our faculty is done their Ph.D. in their course as our college gave strict order for every faculty member to complete it. I think their teaching method is good they give attention to students but the main thing is if you focus then every faculty is good. Since i m newly joined so i don't know detailed about exams but as i heard from my senior exam and rules in college are strictly followed.

In our college, lots of companies come for internships from 5k-20k as stipends. Some companies might come which dont give any stipend. Projects depend of every company is different. Like website or software development. I worked on college website during my undergraduate time.

Campus placement is good like more than 300-400+ company comes in our campus. But vit takes lots of students also so its make little competition among them. I can say minimum 60% Student got placed by vit. In MCA students eligible after 1year for campus placements. Like first year study then second year internships company and then job. Company comes like which give salary of 2.5lac-40lac package. After i get degree i will go for job then main.

College fees hike every year a little like every college but i think it is affordable too if we see maintenance and college name & fame. You get a scholarship, financial assistance if your marks are good enough, and the rest depend on the policy. In vit job, we can get if students are well Focused as 300+ company comes. But 60% marks is most important in (10,12,UG) for placement criteria. Else you need to try by outside also.

Campus life i can't describe now as we didn't go due to covid-19, but i can say there are lots of fest, clubs and good infrastructure, we will get. Riviera is the Annual International Sports and Cultural Carnival of the Vit Vellore Total Number of Books 2,40,802, Total Number of Back Volumes 18,350, International 82, National 330, Print Journals / Magazines 412, E-Book - (On and Off Campus access facility) 3,64,453, Media Resources, CD / DVD 15,650, Video cassettes 561, Audio cassettes 317, Anna Auditorium (Seating capacity – 1800) Dr. M. Channa Reddy Auditorium (Seating capacity – 469) Dr. Ambedkar Auditorium (Seating capacity – 198) Kamaraj Auditorium (Seating capacity – 128) Multi-purpose Hall (at Gandhi block) (Seating capacity –462 ) It looks like a normal classroom. Actually in spite of Vellore being a hot place, the campus is relatively cooler. The classrooms aren't hot at all, its very spacious. There is a projector in each classroom.
