Remarks
I have not applied for any other college because I have a low percentile in JEE mains. I have tried for josaa counselling but did not get any college. That's why from jcecb counseling I got this college. I am a general students so not applied for any quota. The minimum marks required is that your percentage in both should be more than 40% and it is according to the rank of JEE Main. The counselling was online, so there was no counselling day, only a PDF come with all the people who have got selected for the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because I got this course I have applied for computer science, mechanical, electrical, but I got finally civil. The faculty to student ratio is that there are about one faculty for hundred students. The faculty members are well qualified and are selected by the government of Jharkhand and their teaching methods are appropriate. The terms exams were taken timely but the notice comes just 1 to 2 days before the exam and it was very difficult to pass offline but online it is very very easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are done by various platforms like Internshala and now AICTE is also providing internships. opportunities where you will get opportunities like graphic designing, content writing, web development, machine learning, etc. The project for graphic designing is that you have to make graphics according to company and in web development, you have to make websites. You will get perks and certificates after the internship.
Placement Experience
The placement of our college is average. Many companies visited here like Tata, Aditya Birla group, TRSNSRAIL, L&T. The highest and average package vary with the company. Some of the company provides highest package 600000 package 300000. The overall highest packages are 1200000 and the average package is 5 lakh. There are about 50% of the student who gets placed. My plan is also to get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very low anybody can afford the fees and they are also the opportunity of scholarship you can get many scholarships. One of them is e-Kalyan provided by the government of Jharkhand and finally, your scholarship will be more than the fees. You will also get a job with a stipend.
Campus Life
There are many fests, the annual fest is known as sarjana and there are many tech fests. Some of them occur within a week. There are many books and journals available in the library, but the library looks very old and had many books which are old. The classrooms are normal with not very many facilities. The extracurricular activities are good, but the absence of some of the games. There are many social groups clubs and website lines Leo club, BITSAA Connect, ISTE, IETE, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Classrooms are normal with only sanitation and electricity facility. The meal of our college is known for its quality, but it depends on the hostel in which you live. The registration process of the hostel is done by the hostel manager. You will be assigned a hostel according to your roll number. The locality is not very good. There are only some tuition classes and taking rent or PG is difficult.
